I left a response to your post, if you want to check it out. Didn't think my (apparently failed) attempt at being witty would lead to this negative response. 2600:8802:2718:6700:9F35:65C0:D934:6DC9 (talk) 04:45, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- @2600:8802:2718:6700:9F35:65C0:D934:6DC9: Yeah, it looks like I'm probably off the mark yet again. You participate actively in Portal:Current events, right? One of the reasons I had suspected your IP range was linked to when LaserLegs stopped editing was because it started showing up on ITN/C at about the time he got banned, but I don't think he ever participated in the current events portal, as it appears that you do. ⛵ WaltClipper -(talk) 13:39, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

As in This? If not, you might want to revert yourself. --Jayron32 19:02, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- It was an intentional joke, a reference to the "Steamed Hams" skit from 22 Short Films About Springfield where Superintendent Chalmers berates Skinner for claiming that he has Aurora Borealis in his kitchen. I figured it'd be an obscure reference to those who don't get memes, thus why I put an easter egg link in my "Yes!" response. Obviously, someone reverted my double-closure, so the joke clearly fell flat. Pity. --⛵ WaltClipper -(talk) 19:14, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
