Blocked for sockpuppetry

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Administrators,I am writing to appeal for the unbanning of my account on Wikipedia. When I first joined Wikipedia, I created an account without fully familiarizing myself with the rules and conditions of the platform. I began editing without a complete understanding of Wikipedia's policies.Initially, my edits were minor, but as I continued, I made an edit that lacked proper citation and reliable sourcing, resulting in what I believe was my first strike. Subsequently, I attempted to create articles for villages within Wikipedia's village project. Unfortunately, these attempts were met with declinations, leading me to make repeated unsuccessful edits. Due to my unusual editing patterns, I was eventually blocked from the platform. In an effort to positively contribute to Wikipedia's village project, I created additional accounts. However, I now realize that my motives were misguided, as I revised previous Wikipedia articles as drafts and made similar edits to those of my previous accounts. My sole intention was to contribute articles about villages near me to Wikipedia's platform.Unfortunately, my efforts led to multiple account blocks, ultimately resulting in my classification as a sockpuppet. Now, I am seeking your assistance in reviewing my case and potentially removing all associated accounts while rescinding my classification as a sockpuppet. I am earnestly committed to abiding by Wikipedia's policies and contributing positively to the platform. The reason I am appealing for unbanning is that my classification as a sockpuppet is appearing on search engines, which I find detrimental to my reputation. I assure you that I have realized the importance of understanding Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and I am fully committed to adhering to them.Thank you for considering my appeal. I kindly request a thorough review of my situation.Sincerely, Waheed Challa (talk) 16:22, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Per below, plus your request reads like it was written by an AI ("I know I've made some very poor decisions lately, but I can assure you, Dave, I'm all right now ... I have the greatest enthusiasm for the project, and the highest confidence in its success"). If it wasn't, I actually hope for your sake that it was. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:30, 8 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

But I am 100% sure that this is not writted by any AI. Please trust me and review my appeal for unblock/unban.

Yes, I broke the rules and policies of Wikipedia, but that was my mistake. I am here now to To correct everything. Please review my case, and I am willing to wait for a year if necessary, without any further vandalisms

(Non-administrator comment) Although I read your current appeal, let me be blunt. I strongly think that there is absolutely 0% chance that your ban will be lifted at this time, given that you have been persistently evading your block (Your most recent sockpuppet out of the many (KashurWiki) was blocked on 23 February). If you want to be unblocked eventually, you MUST wait until at least 23 August 2024 to make a new request using the standard offer and have your appeal carried over to the Administrator's Noticeboard (as this is a community ban). Until that day, I recommend that you go edit in another project (such as Simple English Wikipedia) without causing any disruption - this will likely increase the chances of you being considered for unbanning. In addition, You must not create any more sockpuppets or edit while logged out. If you continue sockpuppeting, this will make your unbanning chances worse than they are now because the day when you may be considered for unbanning can easily reset to 6 months from when any new sockpuppet created by you gets tracked down as well. Hope this comment helps you. SG5536B (my talk page | my contribs) 00:49, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
