editThanks for stopping by my page. Fixing your image was easy but I remember the days when I was new to wikipedia and doing something like that was very frustrating. Good luck with your project! Truthkeeper (talk) 21:08, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
Paris Mountain State Park
editI've left comments about Paris Mountain State Park at the DYK nomination and have added a few things to the article myself. You've done an excellent job on the article and I want to commend your work, and to encourage you to keep it up. Unfortunately, it doesn't meet the time requirement for DYK. This can be waived for new users under some circumstances, so I've asked for comment from other users. You should also provide a cite for the source of the hook immediately after the source sentence. It's a bit fussy to do that, but it's normal for DYK articles. I noted that the piping of Pars Mountain State Park to Paris Mountain is perhaps questionable, but it's rectifiable, and I think the "Pearis" vs. "Paris" contrast is satisfactory for the hook. Again, good job, you've done well. Acroterion (talk) 22:58, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Paris Mountain State Park
editOn 8 December 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Paris Mountain State Park, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Paris Mountain was named for the Indian trader Richard Pearis? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Paris Mountain State Park. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
