Thank you for your wonderful job by putting pictures of swimmers in Wikipedia. Really was missing someone here to do this. Take the most of pictures you can, because we really need. I see that Wikipedia needs more pictures and I have taken already about 25 gigabytes photos and I upload what I can now. I have not enough time because I am from other city and I want to see Kazan and visit many competitions. So I have only night time to upload something (now is 23:49 in Kazan). I would be happy if somebody say me EXACTLY swimmers which photos are needed to upload in Wikipedia because I can't keep track of all pages without pictures. My native language is not English, too. Well, from what I see here, it seems have no photos in 80% of swimmers articles. You can download everything in the Commons, take your time. Even in articles that already has photos, it helps to have more photos yet. JRachid (talk) 23:31, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi, Chan-Fan. I understand that you're busy now at the FINA championships. When the meet is over, would you consider undertaking the replacement/addition of the current standardized version of the 159 athletes in Category:Olympic swimmers of China? There are about 4400 transclusions of the infobox template and only about 2000 have been upgraded to the current standard so far. Several of us are working our way through the remaining examples, but we could really use some help! Thanks -- hope you're enjoying your time in Kazan.

Please remind me to start uploading photos on August 11 because I can forget or to defer the matter out of laziness :-D (for example I visited WC fencing epee finals and took photos but haven't uploaded them yet). Licensing inquiry on John Part's picture for a GA nomination review

Hello. I was wondering if you could help me out with one of the pictures you uploaded to Commons. On the 2001 PDC World Darts Championship article on en.wikipedia, these is a picture of John Part located here. I noticed that the link to the Gazette Live link no longer works. I tried looking for a live copy and archived copies on Archive.Org / Archive.is but no luck. The reason why I contacted you is because I'm currently reviewing the 2001 PDC article for a GA nomination, and that picture I can't verify where it does have the right licensing or not. Daria Ustinova

Hi! I'm writing you since you know both Russian and the swimming world. There seem to be two swimmers called Daria Ustinova, one called Daria K. Ustinova and one Daria S. Ustinova. The article on Daria S. was recently redirected to Daria Ustinova (after this afd: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Emily Escobedo) and then deleted once I realized they are not the same person. I am now trying to figure out which wiki-links should go where. To do that I looked up the results of Daria S. and it seems maybe she should have her own article after all [1] (assuming these results are actually hers and not misattributed). Hello. I always use a profile information from the FINA website (https://www.fina.org/athletes/1190670/thomas-hallock). Unfortunately, there is no info about the first his performance for Switzerland. But according the website, his first major competition was the 2019 European Short Course Swimming Championships in Glasgow. Results book is here. I think he never represents USA in international competitions but I have no source of it.
