Thanks for uploading File:Flyingbolt, Thyestes Chase Gowran Park, January 1966.jpg, which you've attributed to Ruth Rogers. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or

Stablemating

You've now re-added the trivia about Fort Leney to Flyingbolt three times. Stop, will you? It's off-topic trivia, as my edit summaries have pointed out. Also, you keep re-adding redundant links to Arkle & the Gold Cup. One link is plenty for a page. Also, a bit of friendly advice: if you don't want trouble over this, edits for more than one page are a good idea; otherwise, you're just asking for claims of page ownership. Despite doing my best to figure out how to use the talk page (including a tutorial on Youtube) I am still not certain if you will get this message so if you do please acknowledge in some way. I am not trying to be awkward. I simply assumed that including the piece about Fort Leney and their connection as former stablemates, now both retired, having been trained by the same man would be of interest to the reader. I also thought that a 'redundant link' was one where a subject which was highlighted did not lead to a relevant page. For example, you were highlighting Fort Leney but when you clicked on it it led nowhere. You are right with your last edit summary, I did not know that 'OT trivia' meant 'off topic trivia' and even then I wasn't sure what you meant by it. If you say that one link is plenty for a page, then that's fine. I didn't know that until you pointed it out. Finally, I am not trying to claim page ownership. I have a strong knowledge of the subject as well as being related to the connections of the horse in question and all I am trying to do is make sure that the reader is getting the correct information and not the fictionalised version. I am only learning as I go along so please accept this weakness. As I said, I am still not sure how to use the talk page and don't even know if you will see this message. At the moment I find it much easier to understand a direct message rather than try to de-code edit summaries. Thank you and please acknowledge receipt. I appreciate your help. Hi Visindar, you obviously know your stuff, and you write well, but wikipedia has its own list of conventions and "rules" which take some getting used to. One thing you need to look at is the use of references and citations. Anything that could be argued with or looks like an opinion needs to be backed up with a source (and no, personal knowledge doesn't count!). We do need people to write about NH Racing, so I hope you will stick around. Try looking at articles like Brave Inca, Imperial Call and Master Oats: they aren't perfect but they should give you an idea of the way things are usually done. Tigerboy1966  21:02, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Hello Tigerboy1966, thank you for your reply and I hope you see this message. I'm still not sure if I am doing it right. I recognise your name from You Tube where I think you may have commented on a couple of my videos. Thank you for your help with Wiki as I need plenty! Yes, I like writing and am involved in the industry with a strong knowledge of racing and I also have access to plenty of material. I have taken your advice and looked at the articles you mentioned and it gives me a good idea of what is required. At the moment I am learning on a trial and error basis and have been encouraged to write as I have noticed quite a number of factual errors in relation to what some people are claiming. By the way I fail to understand why 'clarification' is needed when stating that Arkle was rated 1lb higher than Flyingbolt by the official steeplechase handicapper. Maybe you can tell me. Hi Tigerboy1966, with regard to the article on Flyingbolt, would it be possible to have the issues regarding the article (i.e. contains weasel words, vague phrasing, biased or unverifiable information etc) reviewed by an editor. These words were written almost 3 years ago (March 2011) and the article has been considerably edited and updated since then. I think it is now vastly different and every attempt has been made to keep the text within Wikipedia's parameters by using reliable sources, quotes from biographies and newspaper interviews etc. I just think it deserves to be reviewed again and even if it is not perfect, certainly not all of the March 2011 comments are deserved. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Affirmed at Spendthrift Farm, Kentucky in 1981.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Affirmed at Spendthrift Farm, Kentucky in 1981.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
