Hi VinceMWiki817271, I have unfortunately had to suppress some of your edits because they reveal too much personally identifiable information about you. We have a policy of protecting editors' safety by hiding such information if they share it. I'm really sorry about having to suppress your edits, and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add the information. For some useful information on privacy and safety, you can take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors and Wikipedia:On privacy, confidentiality and discretion. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages! ~ GB fan 15:27, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Sneezlechick per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sneezlechick. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 22:09, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I know I've been suspected as a sock puppet of Sneezlechick, but I am NOT the person you're looking for. I may have edited without adding citations or sources, but I haven't read some instructions about editing, but I still know about adding sources. I didn't know The Chipmunks Go Hollywood was an article for deletion, I didn't know any better. If I have my editing permissions regranted, I will try my best to be as careful as possible when it comes to editing. VinceMWiki817271 (talk) 22:32, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

In answer to my questions below, the user did not demonstrate that they read and/or understood the information in WP:N and WP:GNG, which were linked for the user. Future requests should demonstrate that they understand what notability is in the context of Wikipedia, as part of the reason why they were blocked was re-creating an article that was deemed not-notable. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Well, for what it's worth, the geolocation is a bit off. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:49, 24 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

VinceMWiki817271, can you please explain your relationship with Sneezlechick? Are you the same person, or do you know each other? Z1720 (talk) 19:06, 9 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello, and to be clear with you, No, I don't know ANYTHING about Sneezlechick, nor am I the same person. I have heard about Sneezlechick ever since I've seen the message about my editing being blocked, and I have never interacted with him in any manner as a matter of fact. Thanks for your concern regarding myself. VinceMWiki817271 (talk) 01:44, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have some questions for you to help administrators evaluate your request:
  1. What is notability and what must articles have to show that they are notable? (WP:N and WP:GNG)
  2. What articles do you intend to edit if you are unblocked?
I look forward to your responses. Z1720 (talk) 17:09, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
My answer for question 1: Notability can be described as a state or quality of being notable, a distinguishable person, etc. What articles should have to be notable is that articles must show information that is accurate as possible in order to be notable. (At least to my knowledge)
My answer for question 2: I would probably give up on editing, and instead watch articles being edited, and try to verify if the information is as accurate as possible. VinceMWiki817271 (talk) 04:21, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
