Hello, I'm Yue. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Yue🌙 17:28, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Also, consider the redundancy of some additions. If an organisation is communist, then you do not have to add that they are anti-capitalist, anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, etc. Have you ever encountered a communist who advocated any of those three things? Yue🌙 17:30, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know but I still think it’s good to add it, also many people don’t know communism is anti imperialism so I think it’s a great idea to add it. I agree tho on anti capitalism and I will not add anti capitalism in any communist party. For anti fascism they are communist party that have fought against anti fascism and still do it now, for those particular party I think it’s good to add it since it’s a big part of them Vegetapower (talk) 18:01, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay I tried to put some sources on the PS party of France but I failed Vegetapower (talk) 18:32, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, left wing party have now deleted socialism for their program, you can look at it on Swedish medias. For the sources I still don’t understand how to put them but I thought you could do it. Vegetapower (talk) 18:06, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
The information on how to add sources is available at Help:Referencing for beginners. signed, Willondon (talk) 18:13, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay but pls delete socialism from Left wing party of Sweden. It’s just not accurate Vegetapower (talk) 18:16, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
And pls stop deleting everything I did. I worked a lot and I’m not someone who put random things. Pls Vegetapower (talk) 18:18, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Can’t I just not put sources and every time I change something I said it to you so you can do it. Because if I do it, it will just be worse. I’m not going to make any big chances and I will look before putting something Vegetapower (talk) 18:33, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
That sounds like a terrible way to run the project: some editors just add stuff without a source, and then other editors follow afterward and try and locate sources to add in support of the content. That's probably why it doesn't work that way here. signed, Willondon (talk) 18:43, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know but I promise I will tell you my sources. Look I put anti racism on LFI and the thing where you have to tell what you changed I put my source. If you see that I begin to put extremely wrong things on some parties tell me. I work hard on this and everything I changed at the moment was because I look up and found sources. I’m not going to put far right on a left wing party, I’m not here to destroy anything but to make things better. Vegetapower (talk) 18:49, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

(edit conflict)

Putting sources in the edit summary is the worst way to do it. Future readers of the article have no path they can follow to check that the content comes from a reliable source unless they know how to, and take the time to, rummage through the edit history to see when it was added and if the editor happened (not likely) to have put a source in the edit summary. Second most terrible way to run the project. At the very least, put the source in the text, next to the content, surrounded by <ref> and </ref> tags. signed, Willondon (talk) 18:55, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Like right now tell me one thing I did wrong? Everything I put was true. For exemple for the left wing party of Sweden it’s true that they deleted socialism of their program, i know it also because I’m Swedish Vegetapower (talk) 18:51, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sourcing is the corner stone of maintaining notability and verifiability for its content. That's the way that it is done. It's not that Wikipedia things you are lying, or are wrong, it's just that you have to help Wikipedia vouch for your edit. signed, Willondon (talk) 18:57, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok I guess, I will try to learn how to put sources. Vegetapower (talk) 18:59, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wait for a source can I just do it like this [1] that’s it? Vegetapower (talk) 18:58, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's the lazy way to do it. It still leaves it up to others to finish your work. At least with an actual source in the article, they have something to work with to do it properly. signed, Willondon (talk) 19:00, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I’m new here so you know but I will try be better with the time Vegetapower (talk) 19:01, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
It’s weird because I did [2] but it still put as if it was wrong. Like I’m willing to put some sources but If it never works when I’m doing it, it will not be easy Vegetapower (talk) 19:05, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well I guess I have to learn more for now. Can I just change some little things in small parties that no one knows them? Vegetapower (talk) 19:08, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not without the proper sources, no. signed, Willondon (talk) 19:09, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay Vegetapower (talk) 19:11, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I hope Wikipedia can’t ban me just for making technical mistakes right? Vegetapower (talk) 19:12, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
But can you at least delete socialism in a left wing party of Sweden. Like I have now explained to you why they are not socialist anymore. Like as a Swedish I have no idea why it still says they are socialist, they are not even left wing now but more center left Vegetapower (talk) 19:32, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Im sorry but I have to change it since the PCF is not far left anymore. And why did you delete anti racism in LFI? I literally put sources Vegetapower (talk) 05:05, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not an ideology, and also not really in doubt. Primary-sources should also not be used for ideologies or positions. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 05:11, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well okay, but so you know I put my sources to why LFI is not far left. If you look at the first sources after left wing, you will see I put my sources where it says clearly LFI is a left wing party. It’s the council of state who decided it. They also said PCF was left wing so I also have to change it Vegetapower (talk) 05:13, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wait why did Wikipedia delete my sources on LFI? I don’t understand. It’s wrong to put far left on LFI Vegetapower (talk) 05:14, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
The council of state is not a determining factor here, not when several other sources must be taken into account! Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 05:33, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
How is it not a determining factor when you put far right on RN (a party in France) just because the council of state said that? And the council of state should decide for this since it’s literally their job. I mean it’s pretty obvious LFI is not far left anyway Vegetapower (talk) 05:38, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
You know well that in France it’s the council of state who decides those things? Vegetapower (talk) 05:39, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Such details are always based on the various third-party sources which we can find, in which the majority of sources generally defeats the minority among them. Also keep in mind that it is fully possible for a party to exist across two positions so long as they are not too far apart! Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 05:42, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay but could you at least let me put anti liberalism on them. They literally only talk about how bad liberalism is. Wikipedia can’t just delete that. If I can’t even put anti liberalism on LFI, what can I even put? Vegetapower (talk) 05:46, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE

edit

Before you add something to an article's infobox, make sure you add more (sourced) information about it to the article body first. This is policy because readers are expected to be able to find more information about things in the infobox when they read at the rest of the article.

For you in particular: What's the point of adding "anti-Zionism" to dozens of articles without any of those articles mentioning Zionism or Israel once? Yue🌙 17:33, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

For cuba i put something that talks about their friendship with Palestine. It’s not enough? Vegetapower (talk) 14:01, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Just I did some changes without being logged in, it wasn’t on purpose. Vegetapower (talk) 06:14, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Skitash. I noticed that you recently removed content from National Liberation Front (Algeria) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
