Unexplained cast reordering edit

Hi there, re: these edits, please don't arbitrarily reorder cast. I don't know why you chose the ordering you did, because you didn't explain your changes in an edit summary, but this tends to look like you're arbitrarily ordering cast based on personal preference as opposed to producer preference. Please don't change this again, and please seek consensus for inclusion by opening a discussion on the article's talk page. Additionally, you introduced a number of typographical errors. I don't know why you thought to change "Hindi-language action-thriller film" to "Hindi-Language Action-Thriller film", but We Do Not Write Like This In English. We use normal prose, and editors are expected to follow basic English rules. We also probably don't need wikilinks for common words like "language", "action" and "thriller". See WP:OVERLINK. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:00, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Again, please don't link to common words/concepts as you've done here. Wikilinks compete for reader attention, so having walls of links doesn't actually result in editors clicking more links, rather, they will click less. See WP:OVERLINK. Also, is there a reason why you are editing from three accounts, Vc4137, Vivek Chourasia and Vivek Chourasia vc4137? Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:16, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
I don't understand why you restored the incorrect capitalisation and unnecessary links, but please do not do this again, as it is incorrect from both a grammar perspective, as well as our guidelines on linking. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:00, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

January 2018 edit

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Karan Singh Grover.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Diff: [1] We have a Manual of Style for how article should be formatted. Your bizarre choice to make virtually everything bolded and italicised doesn't meet with our community guidelines. See MOS:BOLD and MOS:ITALICS. Major works like films and books and albums and television series should be italicised. Smaller works like short stories, songs, television episode titles should be wrapped in quotation marks. Virtually nothing should be bolded. If you make edits like this again, you are very likely going to wind up blocked to prevent damage to the encyclopedia, so I strongly advise you to familiarise yourself with our Manual of Style. If you want to experiment, use your sandbox, not live articles. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:50, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

More disruptive editing edit

Care to explain why you added your name to the cast of Firrkie? This is indistinguishable from vandalism.

Also, first and last warning about this: Stop creating articles about yourself, as you've done repeatedly at Vivek Chourasia. Wikipedia is not a social networking platform. We only write articles about notable individuals, and notability is generally established when "a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" Since no major, reputable sources have written anything about you are presumably not notable. If you create an article about yourself again without properly establishing notability, your accounts will be blocked. Note also, that it's bad form to write about yourself. That's what we call a "conflict of interest", which is a basic concept in the world of ethics. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:02, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

January 2018 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:35, 23 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have blocked you indefinitely to encourage you to participate in discussion. Many of your recent edits have not been constructive, most recently this, where you again, miscapitalise a number of words and add unnecessary wikilinks to common words/concepts, contravening WP:OVERLINK. To compound matters, you are using multiple accounts as Vc4137 and as Vivek Chourasia. This makes it difficult to communicate with you, particularly when you don't respond to notes. If you wish to request an unblock, please follow the directions in the box above, and you'll need to convince a reviewing administrator that you understand why you were blocked, and you'll need to explain what you'll do differently going forward. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:41, 23 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Block evasion edit

And pretty consistently through until July 2019. --Yamla (talk) 11:54, 6 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vc4137, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

This user made a request to be unblocked via UTRS appeal #37978. As they still have talk page access, they've been redirected here. However, given their long history of bad behaviour and block evasion, they are considered banned by the community (WP:3X, WP:CBAN), so need to follow the process outlined in WP:UNBAN. They've been warned they cannot simply rely on not having edited for six months. Any request must address their long history of abuse, including sockpuppetry, block evasion, WP:COI and WP:PROMO violations, etc. Any request which does not address all of these concerns would result in the six month WP:SO timer being reset. --Yamla (talk) 11:37, 2 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
