Reactivation edit

Hey Varoon, I encourage you to reactivate your account. You were a great editor to work with, and these days there are far fewer editors in the Germanic philology sphere around here. Unfortunately, there are still just as many trolls. Some major articles—like Odin, Frigg, Norse mythology, and Germanic mythology—still need total rewrites. I've started a Norse mythology article rewrite here and an Odin article rewrite here. :bloodofox: (talk) 15:35, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

After considering it at some length, I've decided to permanently retire this account, and start over with a new one, to use solely for editing Germanic-related articles. I'm done with the rest of Wikipedia. I'll contact you eventually, or maybe you'll guess my new account some time in the future. Aryaman (talk) 22:32, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
OK. I decided to reactivate this account after all. Let's see how things go... Aryaman (talk) 07:40, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wikipediocracy edit

Hi Varoon Arya,

I just wanted to let you know that the Wikipediocracy member Captain Occam has been trying to get in contact with you. [1] [2]

Are you interested in joining Wikipediocracy, like he suggested there? From what he's written in the blog post (second link), it seems like the environment on the articles you used to edit has improved, and the people who caused problems for you are gone now.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of File:Oum AryaSamaj.PNG edit

The file File:Oum AryaSamaj.PNG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
