Modest Barnstar.png The Modest Barnstar
I award you this barnstar for your tireless efforts in descerning whether or not articles nominated for deletion actually have the sources available to prove notability that were inadvertantly missed in pre-nomination searches. Might I help you in moving beyond the searches to the cleanup and sourcing of such artcles to better meet the concerns of nominators? An article on the most notable thing in the universe will be seen in a poor light if it has not been attended to. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 01:02, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the Article Rescue Squad!Edit

Hi, Varbas, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron! We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome! -- Banjeboi 23:11, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate your recognizing that some articles are tagged that might otherwise benefit from improvement. It would be helpful if you could add a source or two after a de-prod to lead the way for rescuers who follow... as such may even keep some de-prodded articles from being sent unneccessarily to AfD. That said, I was able to do a nice recovery for Team Picture. Regards, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 03:36, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Dominik HofbauerEdit

You have removed the PROD from this article and so I have now sent it to AfD. Regards, GiantSnowman 11:27, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

The Original BarnstarEdit

  The Original Barnstar
I award you this Barnstar for being the first at the AfD for Perth Leisure Pool in recognizing through proper WP:AFTER that the article could indeed be improved. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 09:18, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Well... looks like you've been blocked...Edit

Sorry this turned out this way, as I was hoping for the best in your case. You might appeal the decision, but the outcome does not look favorable. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 21:44, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Begin (computer game)Edit

An editor has nominated Begin (computer game), an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Begin (computer game) (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 19:13, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
