Bridge stubs

edit

I see that you've characterized some bridge-related articles as stubs. This is useful. The problem is that there is no template specific to bridge. (It was apparently created and then deleted, although for some reason it doesn't appear in the deletion log.) The result is that trying to add a template produces only a red-linked phrase "Template:Bridge-stub" at the bottom of the article. It would make sense to me for this template to exist, but as long as it doesn't, it will be less confusing for us to use the more general card-game-stub template instead. why bridge stub

edit

from all the card games, bridge and poker are the most popular, way above all others. they are practiced not only as a game, but as sport, way of living etc.

it would be easier for potential contributors to search stubs and also, since there is a category Bridge, it seems natural to have a bridge-stub.

but a stub is deleted if there aren't at least 50 articles pointing to that stub, so my plan was to add bridge-stub to articles who needs it and then to create the stub.

please explain me if i'm doing something wrong, i'm new around.

Good question, but I'm not the right person to answer it. I haven't gotten involved much with templates or with stub-sorting. If you're doing something wrong, maybe one of the people in the stub-sorting project will suggest a better approach. I just wanted to make sure you knew that, right now, there's no template.
