editHello, I'm Utcursch. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Rastogi have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not the right place to glorify your caste - please do that on a personal blog. utcursch | talk 16:34, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Rastogi, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Caste websites such as rastogi.net are not acceptable sources. utcursch | talk 02:28, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
- Also, please see WP:BRD - if you continue to simply reinstate your poorly-sourced additions without discussions, you'll end up getting blocked. utcursch | talk 02:28, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
- Please don't overwrite the disambiguation page as you did on Rastogi. If you want to add a new page you must write it at for example Rastogi (caste) and then add a link to that page to the disambiguation page. – Þjarkur (talk) 12:04, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
- Þjarkur & utcursch both of you are great example of dictatorship and "Fake Media". You are using the word "Caste" again and again without any evidence or cititation. You just asked me to create a page for "Rastogi (caste)". Can you please answer that why do you define "Rastogi" as "Caste"? If you ask any Rastogi they will say our Caste is "Baniya". They may also say that originally we were "Kshtriya" but not are "Baniya". For your information Rastogi is not a "Caste". If you call it a "community", I can still agree. Wikipedia also used the word "High Caste" earlier with no evidence or citation. Does not it prove that Wikipedia hires "very low quality" employees? Does not it prove that you are "Fake media"?
- Umm, you claimed that Rastogi is a caste in this edit. And now you claim it is not a caste. This is why Wikipedia has guidelines and policies such as WP:V and WP:RS. I advise you to go through Wikipedia:Tutorial before making any further edits. utcursch | talk 05:49, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
"Fake media". Wikipedia keeps overwriting my content.

editHello, I'm ColinBear. I noticed that you recently removed content from Rastogi without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. I do not know what is your relationship to Rastogis. Why do we need so much description and what authorise you to add a rapist name on this page. Do you also add all the criminals details on other community pages? Can not we just stick to some reference like I did? Vaibhav1403 (talk) 17:42, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
