License tagging for Image:Flyash.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Flyash.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Your contributions to "critique of capitalism" edit

First, thanks for your contributions to "critique of capitalism." Your analysis of the page is correct. It is long overdue for an overhaul. I may join you in contributing material and re-organizing soon. However, I should mention that your contributions thus far, which I know to be accurate accounts of the works of people like Marx and Engels, contain no citations. You should know that, probably sooner than later, someone will request citations and threaten to delete the material if they are not provided. Cheers!BernardL (talk) 23:00, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Come play in my sandbox edit

hey NJfuller. I have started a sandbox ... [[1]] with respect to an overhaul of the critique of capitalism page. I reorganized the current article under the outline that was discussed in talk. I hope that it is something that we can work with. I have removed some material to the discussion page of the sandbox. I feel that there is alot more material that does not belong in the article. I have also included a few quotes and parenthesized notes which hope fully we can use in combination with other new ideas to construct an article that merit the importance of the subject. Please feel free to edit the sandbox and participate in the discussion. Regards...BernardL (talk) 22:44, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

United States presidential election, 2008 edit

18 million voters unimportant? You mean the folks who supported Clinton? GoodDay (talk) 17:41, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I see. GoodDay (talk) 19:08, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I guess by repeating my argument for full exclusion until November, isn't working (it's getting more & more ignored by mostly everyone), oh well. I may aswell sit back & enjoy the disputes - PS- I'm still considering requesting some sorta 'page protection'; but so far things have calmed down. GoodDay (talk) 19:26, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with File:Buckle in the bible belt.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Buckle in the bible belt.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
