Advisorshares article content edit

Hi UserNameUnderConstruction, thank you for your edits to Advisorshares article, however I have reverted the content you re-added to the page and thought I would quickly explain why. Content related to ETFs is not necessary here, if anything it should be added to the exchange-traded fund article not a random firm that deals in ETFs. The tone of the Advisorshare article is is also not very neutral and seems somewhat promotional, please see WP:NPOV, which may give you some idea of how to present information in Wikipedia avoiding a point of view problems. I am not sure if you are associated with this firm, but if you are this may cause a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and you should avoid editing this article. It is also a good idea to check out the Wikipedia:Five pillars guidelines as this gives you good overview of the type of content that Wikipedia looks for. Happy future editing... Hi, that makes sense. I was mainly just adding content where I felt it would be helpful, although I see your point about some of this information belonging on the main ETF page. It was definitely not my intention to be biased either way (promote or talk poorly about any firm), and if you look, all of the content I added was sourced properly. I do think it is worth adding a bit more content (assuming it is not already on the main ETF page), but I do like how it is a bit cleaner and to the point after you made edits. Also, thanks for the five pillars resource, I will review that. Happy editing!

Donthaveacowman76 Makes Accusations and Threatens Other Users edit

I wasn't accusing you of working for the company but by looking at your posts it seems to be a strong possibility since you were stating what AdvisorShares "believes". I just thought that it would better, if someone without these past edits were to decide what is relevant. I just want to let you know for your own sake, according to Wikipedia's rules you have to declare if you are a paid employee of the company. Paid employees adding free advertorial content anonymously may also be violating state and/or federal laws. You should be careful, there are many examples of corporate executives who got caught by the media doing such things. A prominent example is John Mackey of WholeFoods.Donthaveacowman76 (talk) 15:32, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Donthaveacowman76 is likely the same user as Deepthroat57, Chow4563, Crazykyle83, Keepyallscool, Secretjeepers, DasKapital1867, Evilmonkeyoverlord69, Santaslittlehelperdog101, and possibly others. This user continues to disparage financial services firms. Thank you Donthaveacowman76 for your heartfelt concern, 'for my sake, I will be careful.' Cheers.
