December 2022 edit

then what i will do continuing editing or not.
thank you Economicsworld (talk) 09:01, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Economicsworld Yes, you can continue editing, however:
1) If you are paid for your contributions, you have to disclose them;
2) You also have to disclose any COIs you have;
3) Please try to discuss changes on the talk pages of the articles that you may be affected;
4) Please don't add links to your websites.
I've also explained this on your talk page, however, if you want more help, please see here. Thanks. User3749 (talk) 09:07, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Egyptian Ethiopian war edit

Here is a reference for the numbers I changed https://www.jstor.org/stable/718057 the number in the articles are intentionally distorted and if you check the actual source you will find that the given numbers are not backed up by anything in the article. The article says the army was 4000 and 2000 perished while on wiki it says 20000 94.21.186.16 (talk) 13:05, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You need to cite that reference when making the change. You can reinstate the edit you made, but please make sure you cite that reference. Also, please do not remove sourced content without explaining, as you did here. Thanks. User3749 (talk) 13:09, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Can you please make that change edit

I am trying to do it myself but I don’t have a full grasp of how it works and I end up getting errors. Here is the article https://www.jstor.org/stable/718057 and you can check the numbers yourself to verify my claims 94.21.186.16 (talk) 13:17, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Names of characters in TV series Killing Eve edit

I did not make up those names. They are all named in the TV series. I guess you will have to watch some episodes from season 4. I am not sure whether some links like these (from a quick "Google" search) would be of any help:

Why aren't there any other citations needed for the other (already complete) character names? 77.11.42.230 (talk) 17:47, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Unfortunately, Fandom is not a reliable source, so if you need to add those character names, you would need to find a reliable source to add those names (content must be verifiable). Thanks. User3749 (talk) 15:00, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think yuo had a mistake in Vietnamese's history book "Battle of Hanoi" Viet Minh claim Victory and still keep Hanoi edit

If i mistake tell me Azergod (talk) 10:54, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You were changing numbers in the article without citations. You changed the casualties for 160 soldiers to 1600 soldiers. In the future please cite your edits with reliable sources. Also, please don't test in the mainspace like you did here because someone could see your edit. If you want to test there is a sandbox. Thanks and welcome to Wikipedia. Don't know if you've been following this but another sleeper sock account has been trolling me attacking my recent random changes, The local bishop (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). Not had that reaction for some years. I toned down talk to show GF, avoiding using wp:deny! rgds,-- 82.13.47.210 (talk) 11:56, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

That account has been indef blocked as an LTA sock. I do recent changes patrol often but I did not see this account. If I see any other sock of this LTA I will just report and ignore per DENY. User3749 (talk) 16:15, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

 Thank you for your efforts to fight vandalism. Your attempts to restore Sahle-Work Zewde to a good version have not been fully successful, however. Please be sure to revert vandalism in future edits. Not reverting runs the risk of missing part of the vandalism or not restoring text the vandal may have damaged or removed. This results in the vandal succeeding in damaging Wikipedia, which may encourage them to continue. Also, please be sure that you revert to a clean (vandal-free) version. Looking at recent diffs in the page history is useful here. Thanks and please continue helping to keep Wikipedia vandalism-free! WizardGamer775 (talk) 21:42, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

WizardGamer775, I've checked all of the diffs on that page, it seems like an IP just added an image that is relevant to the article. Can you please check the history or which specific edit did I miss? Thanks and please do continue your good work. User3749 (talk) 12:05, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Just double checked the history, there was some clearly unconstructive changes made by an IP on the same range as the one I reverted, probably the same user. I apparently didn't notice that because of the very similar IP address, but it also seems like you might have accidentally reverted a constructive edit in the process. But thanks for reminding though. User3749 (talk) 12:09, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for letting me know @User3749 I have now restored that image. WizardGamer775 (talk) 18:12, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
