File source problem with File:Pranav Mohanlal.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Pranav Mohanlal.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Policies and procedures edit

Please do look at policies such as verification which requires challenged content to have a citation to a reliably published source.

Please also read WP:3RR to understand what is and is not edit warring before filing a complaint.

Please also read WP:VANDAL before accusing someone of vandalism, because making false accusations or tossing inappropriate warning templates is against policy.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 10:38, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

agreed with TheRedPenOfDoom, we also dont template the regulars Avono (talk) 10:45, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

. Per the policy WP:BURDEN you MUST provide an inline citation as you reinsert challenged content into an article. You cannot insert content and state "i will provide a source sometime". -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 10:59, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

The article has had a maintenance tag since 2011 [1] . I think giving 3 years is enough time. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:20, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
If the "awards" are not important enough that no reliable sources bother to cover them, then they are not worthy of mentioning. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:31, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
they covered Kerala Handloom Industry - Goodwill Ambassador[1], if its less "newsworthy" than this, we dont care. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:42, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
WP:CIV please do not make up false claims about other editors. If you are going to insult me by claiming that I make my edits because I am a "self" proclaimed wikipedia senator, [2]. then you had damn well better be able to back up your claims with a WP:DIFF. With regards to the rest of your statement, yes, I have made my edits based on "wikipedia rules and policies" , which all edits must be based upon. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:08, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

re [3] your "warning" is misplaced, as the edit that you undid, restored multiple links to copyright violation sites. you may not be aware, but linking to a copyright violating site is a quick way to get yourself blocked. do not link to youtub sites that are pirate copies, only official channels. see the "shady" Wikipedia rules such as WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:ELNEVER-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:19, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

That other articles are in crappy shape and need massive clean up is not a compelling reason to not clean up this article. Once this article is clean at least people wont be able to point to it and say "Why should we clean up X article, see how crappy List of awards and nominations received by Mohanlal‎ is?" -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:28, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Don't accuse other editor's of being a "coward" [4]. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:32, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Image revert edit

I don't understand why the poster I uploaded does not suit the theme of the film. Varsham literally means rain and the film is about the rise of a common family guy to an extraordinary one. This poster has both these aspects and shows them better than the older one. Thanks for the message! Josephjames.me (talk) 14:36, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page List of awards and nominations received by Mohanlal has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you.   Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at List of awards and nominations received by Mohanlal. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Avono (talk) 09:34, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. use talk pages to discuss consensus instead Avono (talk) 17:32, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
