Saint Diablo copyright problems edit

Greetings, I see that you have claimed on this article's website that the part of the article is copied with permission. However, the Wikipedia rules say that there are only 2 ways to give permission:

  • Place a note on the website that use under the GFDL license is permitted. The note at [1] doesn't specify this.
  • Get a note sent to Wikipedia from an email identified with the copyright owner that they release this content under the GFDL.

See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for details. I hope this can be resolved soon! --Alvestrand 23:57, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for getting back to me. I hope to be a helpful contributor to Wikipedia and I apologize for breaking any specific rules. Unfortunately I'm not exactly understand what you need from the band. Do you need them to place something on their website stating that use of that information is allowed? Would they need to send you an email from their web domain? Any specific directions would be very helpful to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by UnheardConcept (talkcontribs)

Either would be adequate. In both cases, the magic words are "licensed for use under the GFDL". Have you checked out Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission? --Alvestrand 20:34, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

July 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to UFC 107, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Drr-darkomen (talk) 19:09, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

A quick query about your recent edits to the TUF9 Finale edit

Hi, I've just noticed your recent edits to the TUF9 Finale and am just wondering why you quoted the source that you did. It would appear that it doesn't really have anything to do with potential controversies surrounding judges decisions.

I have no problem whatsoever with edits stating that some were potentially controversial, but am just confused, as I say, as to the choice of source for the statement. Is there any way you could find a better source? Thanks Paralympiakos (talk) 22:09, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry. I did a quick copy/paste to get the correct form for the reference and forgot to rename the source. I've fixed it now. UnheardConcept (talk)
