License tagging for Image:Patty.jpeg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Patty.jpeg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image tagging for Image:Livingwiththelion.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Livingwiththelion.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Just a quick note. It's not so much spamming that you're doing, but revert-warring. You're continually putting things back to your revision without a single explanation - nothing. Other editors have asked you not to but you keep doing it. This is the second time today you have been reported to WP:AIV so I think a short block is required. Leave a comment here and I'll get back to you if you need any more info - Alison 18:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

You have repeatedly taken cleanup and fansite tags off the article Patricia Gras; you have added repeatedly added links to offsite videos (Wikipedia is not a collection of links); and you have repeatedly added back in non-encyclopedic information, put irrelevant information in the infobox, etc. The article as written seems to have been created from her own website, and is written in a fawning and congratulatory tone unsuitable for an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not the place for that sort of thing. One of an editor's duties is to make an article more impartial. You seem to either be Ms. Gras, an employee of hers, or a fan of hers, and in violation of WP:COI. --Orange Mike 18:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Patricia Gras

edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Patricia Gras, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
