Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Update Page

edit

I would like to help update the Sidewalks Entertainment page, along with ref codes that has been requested. It hasn't been changed for awhile and there is newer information about the TV show, including airing in other areas such as Los Angeles. I am involved with the production now (if this is still an issue with the terms). If I can't make the changes myself, is there somebody that can help? Please advise. Tvdir (talk) 20:41, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes, there are people out there to help with that Tvdir. Allow me to outline how you can have your requested edit made.
  1. Go to the talk page of the article (Talk:Sidewalks_Entertainment).
  2. Click "New section"
  3. Put a summary of the change you would like to make. For example, "Edit Request for History Section."
  4. Place the :{{request edit}} template in the body of your message.
  5. Below that, you may make the specific edit request you have in mind. For the edit request itself, you should include the following:
  1. What you want to replace
  2. What you want to replace it with
  3. Sources. See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources.
Often times, edit requests are declined for two major reasons:
  1. The user has not provided what they want to replace
  2. The user has not provided reliable sources. I would seriously recommend reading over the Wikipedia article I have linked above regarding reliable sources.

Sorry for the long message, I just want to make sure that your requested edit is successfully made. In addition, you want to make sure that your edit is not WP:COI. I know you have addressed that you are affiliated with your topic, and therefore would like another user to make this edit. When you make your edit request, add a note that you're directly affiliated with the subject so that the editor will better understand your situation. I hope I helped. --JustBerry (talk) 21:15, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Richard R. Lee

edit

The article Richard R. Lee has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet the WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
