Hi Editors,
Please excuse this oversight -- when I went to post the photo the first time, I was asked for the information, but I was having trouble uploading the file. Then for some reason when I was able to upload the file, that same request for those details didn't show up, so I thought your computer program no longer needed that information. As you can see, I'm not all that computer savvy! The photo is owned by the subject of the page, so there is no licensing or copyrighting, unless his ownership constitutes his own copyright. But in any case, it is his own photo.
I hope that clears up the matter, but if it doesn't, please let me know and I'll provide more information.
Thanks, Tundra14 Tundra14 (talk) 13:34, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
File source and copyright licensing problem with File:David Lichtenstein.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:David Lichtenstein.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 19:19, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi Editors,
I think I answered this question above. The photo belongs to the subject of the page. I did go in and fill out the pieces of information on the photo, so hopefully that addresses the issue. If it doesn't, just let me know.

File copyright problem with File:David Lichtenstein.jpg

Image problem
editThis edit you made does not work and your summary comment that it is very hard is not really understandable when the deletion notice clearly tell you the image needs a copyright tag and gives you a link to the copyright tags page where you should choose the appropriate one. Other useful lnke where question could be asked were also provide to you. However, you also state the copyright belongs to the subject of the image and it clearly does not appear to be you, so you will need to get the copyright owner, who may actually be the photographer and not the subject, to verify the copyright licence under which they are prepared to release the image. That permission can be verified by having them follow the procedure found at WP:CONSENT. Until that permission comes in, do not modify the deletion notice because the problem has still not been solved. If the copyright owner is going to email in their permission you may add, not replacing anything with, the {{OTRS pending}} tag (include the curly bracket exactly as seen here, to the image file, so it does not get deleted so quickly. You may also find it useful to read my image copyright information page. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 10:52, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
I did go to the copyright tags page as you or another editor told me to do, but there doesn't seem to be a place to select the tag that would apply it to the photo. There's no box to check, or anything like that, just descriptions of what each tag means. Please tell me where to enter the information, and I will comply. I'm not trying to be difficult here, it really is unclear to me where to enter this information. I have been to the file page at least two dozen times trying to figure this out. The photo belongs to the subject, it's a personal photo. Does he need to fill out his own consent form? Thanks in advance for your help.
