Disambiguation link notification for August 28 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of important leaders of the communist party, socialist state in Vietnam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Annam (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey edit

Hey, since you're vietnamese, I'm wondering if you have a reliable source which states the day, month and year each of the individual Chairmen of the National Assembly of Vietnam took and left office... I really need it for FL nomination. Thanks. --TIAYN (talk) 11:33, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

But do you have a source for when they took and left office.. Do you have a source ("nguồn" or "tài liệu tham khảo???") --TIAYN (talk) 17:21, 14 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

See also sections edit

Per Featured List reviewers lists, and articles should not include "see also" sections... Because of that, I've removed them.. I've added the list you created to the Template:Vietnam topics... Is that okay? --TIAYN (talk) 20:35, 28 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Communist Party of Vietnam edit

I've removed the changes you made to the Communist Party of Vietnam page because of two reasons - it was terribly written (sorry) and it was missing references. I'm thinking of expanding the article, so if you would like to help me I'd appreciate it. --TIAYN (talk) 07:17, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Seriously, you have one source which says Nguyen Phu Trong is ranked 1 - however, 99 percent of the other sources say otherwise.. Secondly, I've got a source which says rank, from the 1st plenum of the 10th Central Committee does not mean nothing.. The only source you have is one source... That is not good enough for wikipedia. --TIAYN (talk) 13:38, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'll continue to revert you're edits... First, you're grammar is terrible.. Its close to impossible for me (and others, to understand what you are trying to write - so if you want to work on improving the article, you have to collaborate, since nobody will understand what you are writing).. Secondly, you don't use sources (with the exception of one which says Nguyen Phu trong is ranked no. 1 - I have many more sources from Nhan Dan which states that Truong Tan Sang is ranked no. 1... From the 1st plenum of the 10th Central Committee it has been decided that higher ranking does not mean more power, it just means that the person gained more votes during his election to the Politburo... So Nguyen Phu Trong is still one of the most powerful figures in the country.. He is the de facto no 1 or 2 (more probably 2), but not de jure.. What I'm trying to say is this; he is no. 1, but not in practice, its not official, because from the 1st plenum of the 10th Central Committee it was decided that the rankings would not the show the ranking of the individual members. --TIAYN (talk) 15:51, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
I know that.. This is already written, and stated in the article. But that has nothing to do with the fact that the General Secretary has to be ranked no. 1 --TIAYN (talk) 16:11, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
You can't use wikipedia to reference wikipedia.. Truong Tan Sang is ranked no. 1 according to this and (and this is from Nhan Dan, the official party newspaper)... I don't care what used to be, things change.. For instance, Le Duan was not no. 1 under Ho Chi Minh.. It doesn't have to be.. And as I've explained, no. 1 according to the 1st plenum of the 10th Central Committee means the person who got the most votes when he was elected to the Politburo... Nguyen Phu Trong did not get the most votes. --TIAYN (talk) 16:30, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
The only place Nguyen Phu Trong is listed first is in picture lists, such as this one.. However the problem with this one is that it doesn't use numbers... THe other lists do. Why they have made two lists I don't know, but they have.. And one uses numbers and another uses nothing. --TIAYN (talk) 16:32, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tuantintuc17 (talk) 16:39, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Because all the other general secretaries were no. 1 doesn't mean that Nguyen Phu Trong has to be no. 1... You are right, the results were never made official.. However, David Koe interviewed high-standing officials, which is better than nothing..Secondly, Nguyen Phu Trong is still party chief even if he is not ranked no. 1. Thirdly, during the 10th Politburo Lê Hồng Anh, the minister of public security, was ranked second, and not Nguyen Minh Triet. Currently Phùng Quang Thanh is ranked no. 2, which doesn't make much sense either.. However, it does make sense if what David Koe said was right; that from the 1st plenum of the 10th Central Committee onwards, rank is decided by the number of votes you earned, and not the power of you're office. --TIAYN (talk) 16:48, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Okay, my Vietnamese isn't great, I'll admit that. But that articles about the National Assembly, Nguyen Van An and the need to strengthen democracy (and democratic accountability in general) through collectivism (but also accepting the individual).. Am I right? --TIAYN (talk) 16:57, 3 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
You can't just say sources are bad because you disagree with them... Is Nhan Dan, the main party newspaper wrong??? In all probability not. . . And yes, Ho Chi Minh: The Missing Years is a good book, another good book is Renovating the Vietnamese Communist Party: Nguyen Van Linh and the Programme for Organizational Reform, 1987-91'. It doesn't really matter if the General Secretary is the party leader, he is not ranked no. 1.. Unless you can prove that the Central Committee has said otherwise this won't change. --TIAYN (talk) 16:06, 5 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Who are missing in this list; Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam?? I can't seem to find any officeholders before 1976. --TIAYN (talk) 14:20, 6 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
do you know who was the chairman in 1948 or any of the chairmen before 1976??? Could you help me complete this list?? --TIAYN (talk) 08:34, 11 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Members of Politburo and Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam article edit

We already have a list of politburo members, see 11th Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam, 5th Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam etc... We already have a list of politburo members, which makes the article "Members of Politburo and Secretariat of the Communist Party of Cuba" redundant (not needed).... However, we don't have a list of the 11th Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 5th Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam and so on.. So you can make a list, List of members of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam, but a list of politburo members is not needed since we already have these, or you can make separate lists, for 11th, 1st, 2nd, etc... --TIAYN (talk) 15:39, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Members of Politburo and Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
