Notice about changes to film list formatting guidelines edit
Not sure if you've already heard, but back in April, there was a request for comment about changing the formatting guidelines for the alphabetical lists of films, and the consensus was in favor of only using the "&" format for films which are part of the same series or are remakes of each other. For example...
...can maintain the same format since the latter film is a remake of the former. On the other hand...
...is now to be changed to...
...since the films are related in name only.
Of course, there are thousands of examples of this which now need to be changed, and unfortunately I don't really think doing this semi-automatically is feasible due to the need for a human to determine whether two films are actually related. This is why, four months later, not much has really changed, and why I don't expect you or anyone else in particular to complete this task on your own (unless you want to, of course!). However, it's something to keep in mind for future additions/changes to the list, such as this one in which you concatenated two separate films that don't seem to be related other than by name. - I didn't know. Thanks for pointing it out. That is going to be a ton of work, too much for me (and I imagine most others as you say) to take on at the moment.
