Welcome to Wikipedia! | |||
Hey there, Toweepformenot! I'm glad you decided to register a new account here on Wikipedia. We're always looking for new editors to help improve the project, because believe me, there's always something to be done! Wikipedia often seems very large to newcomers (it did to me, at least), so I've put together this little guide to help you get started. I hope this helps, and as always, happy editing! Re: Banned?
editSorry, apparently the script I use is broken. I've fixed the tag, but if you're able to contest the evidence I've provided on that page, I can remove the case. I will admit that the situation is somewhat coincidental, but I wanted an admin to check it out. As I said, I'm more than willing to remove all of this if you can give an explanation for things. :-) Thanks for contacting me. Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:00, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. Is there any particular reason you chose that name? The style of your name bears some similarity to the one used by the vandal. Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:06, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
It's from one of my favorite songs-- "The Lone Pilgrim". What similarity does name bear to his? This all seems really ridiculous. Toweepformenot 02:08, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- It appears there was a mis-understanding. You were confused with a sockpuppet of User:AndreLapalme. We're terribly sorry to cause so much trouble with a new-comer. Welcome to Wikipedia. --əˈnongahy ♫Look What I've Done!♫ 02:17, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I do completely apologize. I hope this hasn't turned you off in any way, and if so, please accept by sincere invitation to continue to edit. It seems you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and as a result I jumped to conclusions when I shouldn't have. The sockpuppet case I opened against you is closed - apparently the script screwed up more than once, so it wasn't ever actually open - and this will have no bearing on your standing as an editor here. Again, I do apologize, and welcome to Wikipedia. Happy editing. Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:20, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry case
editYou have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/AndreLapalme for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Hersfold (t/a/c) 08:12, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Glenncommunist.PNG
editThanks for uploading Image:Glenncommunist.PNG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot 23:06, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
