Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 02:16, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Royal maintenance corps.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:33, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia guidelines dictate that you assume good faith in dealing with other editors. Please participate in a respectful and civil way, and assume that they are here to improve Wikipedia. Thank you. Be aware that good faith edits are not vandalism and it is inappropriate to describe them as such. Mangojuicetalk 04:52, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I left him a WP:3RR warning -- that's the real problem here. If he breaks the 3RR feel free to report it at WP:AN3; if he continues like this for a while without technically breaking 3RR, report it at WP:ANI. However you should also be aware that you are edit warring and that you need to stop as well or you could also be blocked. Mangojuicetalk 12:14, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

I don't understand the situation well enough to intervene myself. Just try to get more feedback on the talk page. Perhaps use WP:3O? Mangojuicetalk 18:11, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I can help you with the enlisted ranks for your Jordanian Military Ranks page. I lived in Jordan and was friends with many NCOs and Officers in the Jordanian Military. pew pew pew 18:14, 24 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alanlemagne (talkcontribs)

File source problem with File:Samkari.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Samkari.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:55, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
