Speedy deletion nomination of Kampuchea House

edit

A tag has been placed on Kampuchea House requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Kampuchea House, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Simon-in-sagamihara (talk) 04:40, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kampuchea House

edit

A tag has been placed on Kampuchea House requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Kampuchea House. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. mauler90 (talk) 04:57, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Kampuchea House. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Simon-in-sagamihara (talk) 12:30, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did with Kampuchea House, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have now done this four times. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:03, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why the page was deleted

edit

What you wrote never explained the significance of the organisation. You made claims at the talk page, but you never substantiated them sufficiently at the talk page and never included them in the article at all. Moreover, the article was quite promotional; it was close to being open to speedy deletion as advertising. If you'd like, I can restore the page in your userspace, where you can work on it without fear of deletion. Just leave a note at my talk page (at the bottom, not the top, please) and I'll take care of it. Nyttend (talk) 12:50, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
