Edits

I know you are an extremely good editor here Tomica but I feel many of my edits you revert are worse than the ones I produced originally. For example you just wrote this:

""Diamonds" sold [an] additional 171,000 digital copies and became Rihanna's twelfth number one on the chart;it also ended the nine week reign of Maroon 5's "One More Night".

To be honest, my version before was a lot better and I don't really see why you felt the need to just keep rewording everything. I have to go and edit your grammar and punctuation mistakes now. Please can you try and edit the best you can with these highlights corrected in the future if you intend on reverting my edits that contain good grammar and punctuation. Thanks.

Actually, your version was not better at all. It read like a magazine issues, same like Billboard wrote. And you added a tone of information about the chart perfo that was not important. The lead should summarize the main things, which I strongly believe is fine as it is now. — Tomíca(T2ME) 16:46, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

US R&B/Hip-hop Digital Songs

According to WP:USCHARTS, this can be added to articles where the song hasn't charted on the US Hot R&B/Hip-hop Songs chart, so I've added it to "Fading", "Cockiness (Love It)" and "Rockstar 101". Did you know that "Fading" actually charted in the US? I had no idea. AARONTALK 01:17, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Lol, no I didn't. How did you find about it anyway? xD — Tomíca(T2ME) 01:20, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
I was just looking through Rihanna's chart history on Billboard, since they added like 3 new R&B charts and airplay charts. They could only be added to those three because those three songs never charted on the main US Hot R&B/Hip-hop Songs chart. AARONTALK 01:22, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Cool. Unapologetic will debut at number one in the US! Finally! :) I am so happy about it. — Tomíca(T2ME) 01:24, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Good, it will shut up all those (That Grape Juice) who bang on about her not having one. it will be #1 on the US R&B albums for sure. AARONTALK 01:25, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
They are irrelevant anyway lol. Haha. And of course yeah. It is predicted to sell 240-260k . — Tomíca(T2ME) 01:26, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
He always slams Rihanna yet the posts he writes about her get his website the most views and comments. Would that be her biggest opening week then? Hey in December I will be more free to get articles like her albums and WFL to GA. I have a lot of work to do in the next few weeks. AARONTALK 01:28, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
We will do something. Also now that Unapologetic song article come, we will have a lot of job. How do you want to do them? Split 7 to 7 and work on "Half of Me" together, or work together on all of them? — Tomíca(T2ME) 08:54, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Just work on all of them together. I think every song will chart, as I looked through the iTunes of US, Canada, UK, France and Ireland. Every country has a different song which is doing very well, making the top 40. Could I do the Recording and production/Credits and personnel/Charts sections? I like those ones best lol. Or if you do Diamonds and I do Stay, then do the rest together? Apart from Half of Me that's the only other song I like tbh. AARONTALK 11:36, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Ahhh I love "Stay" too, but okay you can do it. What about "Half of Me"? I think we should do that one together. I love it too tbh :P ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:21, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah Half of Me together. Thanks. Irish chart update is released tonight and I think a few songs will debut in the top 50. AARONTALK 12:27, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Cool. I do not doubt though that all the songs will chart in South Korea xD! Fucking awesome chart with bad design haha. — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:34, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Lol. I think only Right Now, Half of Me and Stay will chart tonight in Ireland, the others didn't chart high enough I think. AARONTALK 12:40, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Maybe "Jump" too? Sounds like a number one hit. Trust me until Monday we will have all of them charted. xD! — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:41, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Jump isn't on the Irish iTunes chart so I doubt it. AARONTALK 12:45, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Meh. Anyway, no worries, South Korea is there haha :) !— Tomíca(T2ME) 13:02, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
"Stay" :-). I actually started working on this yesterday lol. Already nominated for DYK too. AARONTALK 13:49, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Good. Only more Background info would be fine too. It reads kind of rough in this way:)! "Phresh Out the Runway" can also be started, I will start it in my sandbox now. — Tomíca(T2ME) 14:06, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I couldn't find anything about Rihanna or Mikky talking about the song, so it might just have to be background from Talk That Talk until now. Yeah POTR was performed at Victoria Secrets Fashion Show and the 777 Tour in Mexico, Toronto, Stockholm, (was excluded from Berlin, Paris, London and NYC). Why not just start it off in mainspace? All the edits are recorded that way then. AARONTALK 14:11, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
She performed it in London too. I prefer sandbox, you can edit there too, then we gonna ask admin to re-direct it to the article. It's not a big deal, have done it numerous times. There. — Tomíca(T2ME) 14:17, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Don't know why Billboard excluded it then. AARONTALK 14:38, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Which songs did Rihanna co-write? I saw that they published them wrong or something. AARONTALK 14:52, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Music samples

Who do you ask to do them? I really need someone to upload 2 for me. Arre 02:41, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Me. Statυs (talk) 03:15, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Or User:SD5 when Status is lazy to do it ;) ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 08:55, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. Oh and thank u for the DYK of Not Even the King! :D Arre 10:48, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Oh, no problem dear ;). Here to help anytime ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:43, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
So sorry to hassle you again, but I have a question Lol. I started expanding: Lopez Family Foundation. How much (or how much more) do I have to expand it to get a DYK? Arre 08:21, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
No, don't worry, you are not bothering me. Seems Status was faster than me, you have some more work to do before making a DYK for it. :) — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:17, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Yup he was haha :) thanks. Arre 12:31, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Are you in mood for chat? I am bored, I know you have a gtalk, I don't have you though :P. How can I find you? — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:36, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Twitter? I'm off tweet limit. Arre 16:15, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Oh my that awkward moment when I realize your wrote that 4 hours ago ^.^ ha. Arre 16:21, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Haha. Lol, it's okay. I am on Twitter now though. — Tomíca(T2ME) 16:25, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

Watching through your contributions....

... I came to this. How does the background relate to the song (I kind of like this song :P)? I admit it is well written BUT what is its connection to the song? Jivesh1205 (Talk) 17:05, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

Stalker. Okay Jivesh you know what the Background means right? It means what happened prior she came to record the song? That's exactly what's in the section. If you see most of Mariah's song article you will find even more background than that there is in my sandbox. — Tomíca(T2ME) 17:08, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Lol. You know I like to stalk. :P Yes Tom, I know but I don't see any relevance to POTR. The information will fit only on the album's page and that of "Diamonds". Jivesh1205 (Talk) 17:11, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah look at "Obsessed (song)", it was released in 2009 and I'm pretty sure the Background goes back to 2000? AARONTALK 17:28, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
"Obsessed" is a lead single just like "Diamonds" and not POTR. And "Obsessed" fueled controversy related directly to rapper Eminem, that's why there is so much information there. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 17:49, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Some of her 2005 singles have info which go back to 1999/2000. AARONTALK 17:50, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Have to agree with Aaron here totally Jivesh. Look at some of J-Lo's song articles too, you will find the same thing. — Tomíca(T2ME) 17:51, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
But I feel that it is so pointless to have all this story-telling. It will be a repetition in each and every song article from a certain album. What's the use of this? The reader can simply go to the album's page or the artist's bio page for all that. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 17:55, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
I went through some Mariah song articles and saw that there have been may ups and downs in her life which affected her profession as a singer. Her divorce, change of label, management, miscarriage, underperfoming albums, hiatus, comebacks, etc. I don't see any of these factors in Rihanna's career. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 18:02, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
That's not a reason not having a Background in her articles. What do you want me to do? To add that she rekindled her friendship romance with CB or that they did "Birthday Cake" (Remix), when there is nothing in common with Unapologetic? Phresh Out the Runway is part of Unapologetic and if it's nice to for readers to know how it came until the song. I am sure Guetta will speak about his collaboration with Rih and then we will add that info too. I trimmed a bit though now. — Tomíca(T2ME) 18:06, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
...Phresh Out the Runway is part of Unapologetic.... Exactly Tom. It's not part of TTT, the number of singles it produced, if TTT was a success or not, or events preceding the release of "Diamonds". Tom, I am telling you all this for your own good. I am your friend and I am just trying to give you some good advice. Please don't take me wrong buddy. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 18:10, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
There. — Tomíca(T2ME) 18:18, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Much better. :D Jivesh1205 (Talk) 18:36, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

Rihanna on X Factor

It was epic. Also did you look on the Official UK Charts website? I think Phresh could be moved into mainspace too, I think it charted on the UK R&B. AARONTALK 21:05, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, OMG I saw it right now. Awesome, she is getting iconic. Yeah I saw :) I expected it. Also expected number 1 in Scotland, but ... Oh, alright, I will move it, let me just check first. :) — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:09, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Nobody's Business and Numb also charted on the UK Singles Chart. — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:14, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Nearly all the songs charted. Insane o.O ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:16, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah only about 4 on Singles, 2 on Dance and loads on R&B lol. AARONTALK 21:43, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
She is the top female artist in the UK. That's a fact. :) Love her. Btw, I started the "Phresh" article. — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:45, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah I saw. I can't really contribute much more tonight. I will try and do some stuff tomorrow night. AARONTALK 21:46, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Alright. We shall finish them in the following three days so we can make DYK's, altough I am kind of lazy, but I will give all the strength that I can. — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:47, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah Right Now, Half of Me and Phresh need to be done by Tuesday at the latest to qualify for DYK. AARONTALK 21:48, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
We will finish them, of course ;) ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:49, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
We shouldn't start any other articles until those 3 are finished. AARONTALK 21:50, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Indeed. We shall just wait. — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:52, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
If I can do anything during the day I will but I doubt it. Will be about 8:30pm. AARONTALK 21:55, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Same here. I am going to university tomorrow, so, I would eventually start editing 6pm. — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:56, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Calvin999

I'm sorry to be writing on your talk page but I have to express my frustration against User:Calvin999 (AGAIN!) He is reverting my edits again and what's worse, is posting on my talk page how I am editing for the sake of it when actually I am fixing all of his bad edits. He is calling the Official Charts Company in the chart sections of articles the OOC which I changed to UK Singles (Official Charts Company) but he reverted it to the OOC. I mean, what even is the OOC?!! It's really annoying me now as I cannot revert any of these edits he is making. Iluvrihanna24 (talk) 17:58, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Well this is awkward. Saw that you are good "pals" with him. I'm sorry but I am being treated really unfairly. He is in the wrong not me and I'm not having messages put on my page making out that I am doing wrong when all I am trying to do is improve articles. Iluvrihanna24 (talk) 17:59, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Well, to be honest with you, some of your edits are for the sake. Like you do not make crucial changes just making some make-up around. As an inexperienced user I think you should just research a bit, before making huge edits and changes on the Rihanna articles, which lately you was making. I already told you that some of your copy-edits and adds of prose read like WP:MAGAZINE, remember, this is encyclopedia, not a fan site. Btw, about OOC, it's the same, but really. So either you write OOC or Official Charts Company it's pretty the same, so I don't see why you are edit warring about it. And what if we are friends? Of course we have to be because we have history in working on Rihanna's article. This is about the track listing? I suggest you again look through some article before making some non-sense edits. — Tomíca(T2ME) 18:03, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
I'm actually laughing, hysterically. iluvrihanna24, if you have something to say to me, say it on my talk page. Don't pussyfoot around and throw shade at me on other's talk pages. If I was so "wrong", as you put it, do you think I'd have had three lists promoted to FL status which I did myself? How about 48 Good articles? If I was so "wrong" in all that I do, I wouldn't have even been able to make one article a GA, yet alone a list an FL. There is someone in the wrong, and I'm 100% correct in saying that it is not me. The fact that you don't know what OOC is means you've never ever bothered to explore Wikipedia and see what you are even writing about. Big mistake. AARONTALK 21:55, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Track lists for non-single songs

Tomica, because I do not want this to escalate into something messy, I'd like your explanation as to why you felt that my reverts were wrong. It should be common knowledge that including a track list for a song that was not independently released is misplaced and redundant. But as I said, I don't want this to turn into an edit war, so let us discuss. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 19:31, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Hey. Okay, I also asked you in the revert, is there any policy indicating that we can't include the number of the song and the song itself as part of the album in the track listing section? — Tomíca(T2ME) 19:35, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
As I'd said, it's common knowledge. Track lists are meant for a reader to know what is included in a particular release, be it an EP, album, or single (which can sometimes have a bonus track). There aren't policies for many things, but that does not mean I can do anything there aren't policies against. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 19:40, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, but I disagree with you here. As you said Track lists are meant for a reader to know what is included in a particular release, be it an EP, album, ... That's what Unapologetic is, with adding the track listing people will just read which number the song is on the album. I don't see making a big deal of these. Have seen it on a numerous song article through Wikipedia. — Tomíca(T2ME) 19:42, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
That information can be given with a brief "'Right Now' is the seventh track in Rihanna's album Unapologetic". This is given in the infobox too. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 19:46, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
It's not settle actually, and I don't agree with you, but having in mind our good relationships I would let this pass. — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:51, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
