Nomination of Jason Westland for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Jason Westland is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jason Westland (second nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. gadfium 23:27, 27 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Tom, Unfortunately the two sources added might hurt your case more than help. The first is a blog, and blogs are not considered reliable sources since anyone can write anything they want, and there is no editorial or publishing control (some blogs are ok that have editorial control or well known writers). The second from PR web is a press release and that too is is considered unreliable, since obviously it's a press release written by the subject of the article. Sources should be from places like books, newspapers and magazines written by a journalist about the subject. -- Green Cardamom (talk) 17:08, 29 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
