User:Tommovewithus/House valuationHouse valuation – This page is now ready to go live. It explains what a house valuation is, and the process behind it. Tommovewithus (talk) 14:15, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Response - I understand the above query, but the term 'Real estate appraisal' is not applicable in the UK, and therefore we have no page that directly relates to the process. We call it a house valuation and this is the terminology used by both estate agents and customers.Tommovewithus (talk) 16:00, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • But it does deal with the same concept, albeit with a different name and it does have a section on the UK. I suggest that you edit Real estate appraisal to expand the UK specific stuff, then we can create a redirect at House valuation (UK) or similar to that section. – ukexpat (talk) 16:40, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per above. Existing article should be expanded with UK-related info and a redirect made with the UK name to find it. -- Alexf(talk) 17:15, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, creating new articles is beyond the scope of the Requested moves process. Please submit your request to Articles for Creation. You can do so by adding {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} to the top of the article. Feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions. Happy editing. • Response - Ok I am happy to go ahead with the above suggestions, and expand on the 'Real estate appraisal' page to include a more in-depth look at the UK process. What is the best way to then go about putting a redirect in from a 'house valuation' page? Thanks for your feedback and help. Tom1987 (talk) 10:30, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
