Puzzled over your edits on Costa Concordia edit

Hi, I'm a bit puzzled by your edits on the Costa Concordia article - your edits regarding the direction the ship turned after hitting the rock, and the direction she listed, are unclear. Could you revisit them and clean them up, please? Thank you.

Since you look like you're still a bit new, I also include some links provided to me when I started out here: Hello Tincanmansiimon, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page.

Finally, may I ask you to include edit summaries? These allow other editors to know what you've done. Do let me know if I can be of any assistance (click "talk" to be brought to my Talk page, then follow the directions near the top for leaving me a message). --Badger151 (talk) 23:16, 28 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

You're very kind. For myself, I've learned to use the "Show preview" function after each edit. As you may have found on your own, this button is to the right of the "Save page" button, and it gives you a chance to see how the page will look without actually saving it (potential pitfall: be sure to hit "Save page" on the preview if you like what you've done).
Please do, though, take another look at Costa Concordia. At present, it looks like she listed to port and starboard at the same time, which I don't think is what you meant to write. Good luck, and feel free to drop me a further line if I can be of help in the future. --Badger151 (talk) 23:46, 28 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:39, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

November 2012 edit

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Talk:Holly Willoughby. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you are given a good deal of freedom in what you write. -- Trevj (talk) 21:13, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Tincanmansiimon/Astro Empires edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Tincanmansiimon/Astro Empires, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
