Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Telstra Dome Melbourne.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Teltra Dome Melbourne.jpg. The copy called Image:Teltra Dome Melbourne.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 11:45, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Sacred Heart Middle School
On 17 October I deleted an article titled "Sacred Heart College Middle School, Adelaide". At the time it was deleted the entire contents of the page was "sacred heart college middle is probably 1 of the maddest schools in the southern hemisphere. that is all" (note capitalisation as in original). This article was created by a different user and not by you. I hope this clears it up. If you don't mind I'm going to fix the location of the current page which should not end in a colon. St. Martin de Porres, Adelaide
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article St. Martin de Porres, Adelaide, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. License tagging for Image:Nissan Cube side1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Nissan Cube side1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

List of tallest buildings and structures in the world
Hi. I'm not sure what is going on, but an anon reverted your revert, but please explain why you revert to prevent 3RR. Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 16:04, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, you'll see that Astronaut has already reverted that user's edit. The tallest structures list is simply a list of the tallest structure in each category, and Milad Tower is not as tall as the CN Tower. Wikilinks also are only given for the first mention of the linked word on that page. That is why reverted this user's edits. Thanks, timsdad 05:47, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
On 13 August, I added a section to the Talk page of this article about the Washington Monument being the world's tallest stone structure, yet it did not appear in this list. No one added any comments to that section, so on 23 August, I added the Washington Monument to the list. Soon after, you undid my addition, stating that the Washington Monument was "Not a masonry building.". I followed up and agree that, while it is masonry, it does not fit the strict definition of a building, as the term is used here. Thank you for correcting my mistake, but I would much rather have had you enlighten me on the Talk page than undo my efforts with only a curt remark. Perhaps, in addition to watching the articles, you could also watch their corresponding talk pages. --TCav 01:00, 3 September 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by TCav (talk • contribs)
Good Morning
- Sorry, but I dosen`t agree whith you. This is wasn`t vandalism absolutly, in was a chance to change the nationalistic ukranian version. In the Kharkiv allbody saw Kharkov. Канопус Киля (talk) 06:02, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- It is clear that this is the English Wikipedia, not the Ukraine Wikipedia. More than one user has agreed to keep it as it was, so please respect it and refrain from repeatedly changing it. Thanks, timsdad 08:14, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I will not insist. Understand. It is a pity, but I agree with your point of view. I will stop. Канопус Киля (talk) 17:29, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Infobox sizing of Bahrain WTC
Dear Timsdad,
- Thank you for your contributions to the Bahrain WTC article. I dont mean to undo any edits you make; but just to let you know, i have undone 2 of the 4 edits which you made recently. The reason for this is because:
1. If the infobox it too small, the details in it will be forced to display in two lines rather than just one, like the "coordinates" section.
2. Bahrain uses the AmE English Format, rather than the BrE English Format. (no offense). See this.
I hope you dont take it as an offense... Besides that, i wanted to tell you, i have gone through your edits on Wikipedia and am very impressed with your work, its outstanding. I just want to ask you, did you use Microsoft Paint to draw this image? Have a good day.--Rehman (talk) 10:02, 24 August 2008 (UTC)- Hey Rehman. Sorry about the changes, I didn't realise the article was using American English as Dubai related articles use British English, and it is nearby to Bahrain. Thanks, I appreciate your noticing of my work... and yes, that is my most recent image that I created for someone producing a university textbook and I did use Microsoft Paint to produce it. timsdad 08:09, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Wow. You're a pretty advanced user in Paint huh?, good work, keep up. :-). Have a nice day. Rehman (talk) 13:23, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Murjan Tower
Hi Timsdad,
- Since you are quite interested in architecture, i have a good article in which i think you might be interested in. The proposed Murjan Tower is planned to be over 1.022 km (3,353 ft) high with 200 storeys (...and blah blha blah), so i think you will be quite interested to add this to your charts. :-). Have a good day. Rehman (talk) 14:13, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Redirect of Century City Skyscraper
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Century City Skyscraper, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Century City Skyscraper is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Century City Skyscraper, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. A-League articles
Hi, Just letting you know that your work on the A-League 2008-09 season article is appreciated. I can see you've worked hard keeping it up to date and accurate. I've worked on these articles a fair bit myself and if I change something that you don't agree with then just leave a message on the talk page of that article on what you want to change. Over the past four seasons we've used initials on players that have the same surname and we've sorted attendance by average. If you don't want to do it that way then leave a message on the talk page on how everyone should do it from now on and why.
You and I have started to change each other's edits and I think it's better if we work out how each of us wants the article to be formatted and do it the same way instead of working against each other. I think we want the same thing and that's to keep it updated and accurate. -- Squilibob (talk) 13:23, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks, I can also see that you put in a lot of effort to keep things up to date. I believe the initials are completely necessary, and I only removed your addition of Kevin Muscat's first name because at the time, I didn't realise there was another Muscat in the competition. I even searched for another Muscat but couldn't find one, and the only Muscat on the Muscat disambiguation page was Kevin (I've added Manny now).
- I'd also like to thank you for creating that Fair Play Award template, I was thinking about it, as I knew my attempt at adding a Totals column was a bit dodgy, but am not that experienced in template making and left it as that. Thanks, timsdad (talk) 01:57, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Why did you remove the Melbourne skyline diagrams ?
You said they were unnecessary to the article. I disagree. I was merely following the template set by American cities. See articles like Sears Tower. Now if you're just going to delete something without discussion it first, you could at least provide some proper rationale. --WalkingMelbourne (talk) 10:16, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- I removed the pictures because you added the skyline picture to every single building that had an article. Each of the buildings is not a significant enough addition to the skyline (save maybe Eureka Tower), yet the Sears Tower picture shows how tall it is compared to others. Many of the articles you added that picture to had the article's subject hidden behind another building, and is completely pointless. Also, many of the articles are nowhere near long enough to support a full screen picture, and many articles do not even allow one image until significant text is written to fill out the page. -- timsdad (talk) 11:08, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, this is where you are wrong. I only added it to the top 20 tallest buildings, which is warranted given that the skyline diagram is on EVERY Chicago building listed on wikipedia I don't think this is too much to ask. See Lake Point Tower for example. Hardly Chicago's tallest. I suggest you remove those and see what happens. I concede the point about the hidden buildings, but I believe there were only two. As to the length of articles, I have no doubt that articles like Rialto Towers are long enough. It is descriptive and adds a hell of a lot more to the article than all the superfluous gallery photos. --WalkingMelbourne (talk) 00:06, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- I believe you do have a point, but there is something I forgot to mention in my first reply. If you look closely, the Chicago buildings picture is actually a template, on which you can click on each building to take you to its article. If you are willing to bring this kind of thing into your image in form of a template, I'd be very happy to see it on the many Melbourne building articles, providing the subject of that article isn't hidden from view. -- timsdad (talk) 01:23, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'll give it a go ;). Thanks for the tip and advice timsdad. --WalkingMelbourne (talk) 13:22, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Dates per Manual of Style
Hi Timsdad.
Thanks for correcting the dates in the Shanghai World Financial Center article. I wasn't aware that they have changed the date auto-formatting part in the manual.

Hi. Just want to inform you that you have tagged the article with an invalid tag. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 09:21, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, Twinkle seems to be playing up a bit for me at the moment. I've fixed it now. May I also note that this is a slightly embarrassing article to have linked on my talk page... Merry Christmas, timsdad (talk) 09:28, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
FFS!!!
I've referenced that article and spent a fair bit of time writing it. I'm not going to back down! It is relevant and it deserves to stay. Why do you people keep deleting the article out of spite? It really is not on! Nuddsy (talk) 11:32, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- The correct place to dispute this would be on the article's talk page. --timsdad (talk) 11:34, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- But some tosser will come along and delete it before I'll even have the chance. I don't get why this was a speedy candidate, not even a proper AFD!!!! Nuddsy (talk) 11:38, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- It's completely obvious that both articles you created were named such to get around deleted page protection, so it's a perfect candidate for speedy deletion. And please, be civil. timsdad (talk) 11:45, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: edit to Template:Infobox IPA
Hello there — I just undid what I assume was an honest mistake, your last edit to {{Infobox IPA}}. While you are correct that {{Sound}} is now deprecated, the text you changed was not an embedding of that template but the naming of a parameter called "sound" for the template {{Infobox IPA base}}. The difference between the templates and parameters is in a single extra bracket, so it was a very easy mistake! For more info, see Help:Template. Lenoxus " * " 22:48, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, terribly sorry. I was actually thinking about that being a parameter rather than a template, and it's quite obvious now to me that it is. I'll definitely read that entire help page before editing a template again! Thanks for pointing out my mistake. Merry Christmas, timsdad (talk) 04:23, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Re: My edit to High-Speed Downlink Packet Access
In my edit I changed 'increases' to 'decreases' because the sentence is either incorrect or incorrectly listed as an improvement. See: Talk:High-Speed_Downlink_Packet_Access#Latency

LDU Logo
G'day mate..
I uploaded the new logo for LDU Quito a while back and I noticed you changed it to a .png file. I did it originally as now that they have won the Cop Libertadores, they have placed a star over their logo. No probs there, just wondering if there is a need for the original .jpg or should it be deleted since its now an orphan? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sevenlee (talk • contribs) 19:16, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, good on you for uploading a new version of their logo, but I only uploaded a png version as it has a transparent background and looks better in the article. My opinion is that your version should be deleted (because it is orphaned) but I have given credit to you on the png's description page as you were the first to upload the new version. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, timsdad (talk) 10:03, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
