Sources

Regarding the article Primary notation, would you please cite the sources you used to compile it? All Wikipedia articles need to be verifiable by the use of reliable sources. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 06:54, 23 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hey Qwertyus- thanks for the info. As for sources, the article is actually a concept that I have developed independently. I have not yet published any official papers on the subject, but I thought it important to include in Wikipedia's list of numeral systems. It's not a theory, rather a definition of a way to utilize symbols to express a number.
In that case I've not choice but to nominate for speedy deletion:

Speedy deletion nomination of Primary notation

edit

A tag has been placed on Primary notation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

WP:CSD#A11: made up by article creator

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Original research

edit

Sorry, but Wikipedia is not for new concepts WP:OR. They have to be already published and discussed elsewhere in independent sources. There are magazines and journals that do publish new ideas, but we wait until a topic can be shown to be notable - that is, reasonably widely known and written about - before we can have an article on it. That's because Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a journal. Good luck with it, anyway. Peridon (talk) 19:06, 23 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
