This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Thanks for creating the article. I have edited the article so the references are in the form usually used on Wikipedia, and have copyedited and revised the text, as well as adding all the references I could find at Google Book search which had previews available. See WP:COPYVIO: It is not allowed to copy and paste text from copyrighted sources, or even to copy and paste text from public domain sources without proper attribution. There were also several Chinese sources, which did not have previews available. Now there is a better demonstration of how he was notable (by being noted in several reliable and independent sources through significant coverage. It is helpful to the cause of notability that he got mentioned in recent books as well as in obituary-type coverage right after his death. An article should not just ne a memorial (See WP:NOT. Nor should it be a genealogical article with lots of details about all his ancestors and descendants. I removed some of the details you put in about his son, because that was based on census records and a WW1 draft registration, and those are considered "primary" sources. We look for secondary sources, such as books, newspaper articles, and the like, When you trace him through English and US census and such, it is considered "original research," and that is to be avoided. See Wikipedia:No original research. Incidentally, while checking out the article to make sure Francis James really existed and was a missionary etc. The Son Harold F, James in the 1900 census is a student and lodger in Columbus Ohio, and so apparently is his mother. In the 1920 census, Harold F. is married to Lois and is a teacher at "State Inst." in McLean County Illinois, Normal Township. In the 1930 census, he is a teacher in the art department at Colorado University. But this is primary data and not a secondary source to use in an article. Genealogical digging like this often turns up false positives or carelessly recorded information. An actual published obituary might state where he taught. But that is largely irrelevant to the subject of the article, and details of the son's art training, marriages, divorces, whatever would be undue weight. A family tree with annotations at Ancestry.com or like site would be a better place for such information, which would be of more interest to descendants and relatives, than to a general encyclopedia reader. First of all, you have to improve reliable sources and references for the article. About the picture, if she is too old or is free of copyrights you can upload it in wikimedia commons. Hgs
