Well, I'm probably not the best person to be asked that, since I've probably never warned you. But as you can see on your talk page, your IP address is being shared by hundreds of users, since it is an AOL address. Someone else probably vandalized the pages you were warned for. Sorry about that. Sincerely, Thrashmeister {U|T|C} 01:52, 26 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Shawn phase quantum.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Shawn phase quantum.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Chowbok 16:02, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding edits made to Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Thrashmeister! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule img\.photobucket\.com/.*\.jpg\b, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 01:27, 27 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

List of Spectrobes edit

Hey, I noticed the deletion nomination for the article List of Spectrobes. If it comforts you at all, I have transferred it onto [Strategy Wiki], so if the result is deletion, your efforts are not lost (Well at least the content, not exactly the history. :-P). -- Soilworker(Talk to me + Contribs) 01:18, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh. I've just noticed, you're storing it on your talk page. Yeah, I have submitted alot of hard work only to have it ruthlessly deleted due to the evil WP:NOT policy. Thats why I now invest my time on Strategy Wiki. I'm not trying to advertise, but if you have any game content that you don't want to go to waste here, you should look into Strategy Wiki. -- Soilworker(Talk to me + Contribs) 01:21, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't take it personal, Thrashmeister. I did not nominate the page for deletion because I don't like you or anything, but rather because of, as quoted above, "the evil WP:NOT policy." I see you've put the list of Spectrobes on your talk page; that's pretty clever :) If you'd like, you could actually make a sub-page of your user page, and put the Spectrobes there. To do this, click this link: User:Thrashmeister/List of Spectrobes, copy the list over, and be sure to save the link, and put the link on your user page. If you need anymore help on this, feel free to leave a message on my talk page, or consult WP:SP. Thank you! SuperDT 18:30, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Kat_ranger.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kat_ranger.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is either no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use, or else the rationale given is not valid. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 11:33, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Pajamasam.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Pajamasam.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:08, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lucy in the Sky edit

I've nominated Lucy in the Sky which you started as a redirect for deletion, mainly due to the page recently being hi-jacked by band of same name, I'd have reverted instead but it seems more likely that it would be future problem than actually get used as redirect. Discussion is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lucy in the Sky in-case you wanted to object. Regards -Hunting dog (talk) 07:14, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Lucy in the Sky edit

A tag has been placed on Lucy in the Sky requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ziphon (ALLears) 08:06, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please see above section - this user wasn't the one responsible for the copy-vio material - that was later addition over this users redirect page. -Hunting dog (talk) 08:11, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your user page. edit

I thought id notify you that you have a large amount of possibley innapropriate information on your user page. For instance, the links to your youtube videos. Wikipedia is not a place to promote your videos, and it seems they have no link to the project whatsoever.

The List of Spectrobes could also be considered innapropraite. I see the article was deleted due to WP:NOT. This would also apply to your user page, which means your user page violates WP:NOT and WP:USER. If i were you, id merge this with the Spectrobes article instead of having it on your mainpage, where it would be more appropriate. Obviously, the list would need to be shortened but this would be a good idea.

While i wont take any action, it might be a good idea to have your userpage comply with WP:USER. Thank you! Metagraph comment 03:36, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

On a side note, i see your from SPP! Good job, haha. I didn't know there were any wikipedians from SPP on here.

Regan haha, and it looks like you've done alot of work on that list, so id probably just merge it with the Spectrobes article or create a subpage on it (which is explained on WP:USER) Metagraph comment 03:43, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't know, it might not be such a big deal. The only thing i had against it was that the page was deleted on it per WP:NOT, so it would most likely still violate that if it was on your user page. Im not sure to be honest, im not too familiar with violations of Userspace policy. Metagraph comment 03:49, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image:Shannon lucio.jpg edit

Hello. You uploaded Image:Shannon lucio.jpg in 2006 with a public domain license, but I doubt that this license is correct. Can you put my doubts to rest? – sgeureka tc 14:41, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

If the image is not in the public domain, and does not have a copyleft license (GFDL, CC-SA), it still needs a source (photographer as the copyright holder, URL) plus a WP:Fair use rationale to pass WP:Non-free content (NFC). The fair use rationale (FUR) can be challenged by anyone at any time (which I am about to do), and the image may/will removed afterwards from any articles where the FUR is not strong enough. In the case of this image (of a living person), NFC is very strict, because a free image can theoretically be obtained as the person is still alive. It would be the easiest for you to tag the image as {{db-author}} (this will mark it for voluntary speedy deletion), and you no longer have to worry about it. Or you can update the FUR, which I will challenge at WP:Images for deletion, where the image will likely be deleted per WP:NFC. The reasoning behind all of this is that wikipedia has the m:mission to be a free encyclopedia, and using a non-free image for lesser reasons is not helping with this goal. – sgeureka tc 15:46, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
