Why? Trying to create a Page for the historically significant Athens Ga Band, Kilkenny Cats. They were a significant part of the Early indie college rock scene that was a defining moment in US culture. They are several books on the subject and even taught in University material. If you have no motivation to advertise or promote, by what means did you decide to take a user name that corresponds with a member of the Kilkenny Cats? In all honesty, I can sort of see an argument to notability in a quick glance, but conflict-of-interest editing and being evasive are not good strategies to get an article for the band. I am that person. The band technically did its last show in 1991. We did do a reunion recently at AthFest which raises money for arts education. I am an expert on the athens scene from that era and have been interviewed for books and articles. The evasive thing to do would have been to use another e-mail or a have a friend post my article. My account was used in an effort to be transparent. I tried to make the article fully objective and not link to anything that involved sale of any items. Accusing me of being dishonest or evasive says something about you, not me.
