Reply to favor you asked edit

You asked,

Hello, I see that you are very interested in the history of Colombia, then I would like to ask you a favour, could you help me put reliable references to each paragraph in the history section?.
Thank You in Advance --Theryx7 (talk) 17:08, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
Actually, I can. I'm very proficient in American colonial history, read Portuguese and Spanish (somewhat). This article was once a Good Article nomineee, but I can find no GA review page for it. What's wrong with it? Was it refererencing? (There were a lot of goofy things in History section, some actually wrong, so hopefully between you and I, we fix them :-) ). Please, let's discuss for future, because we are sort of reversing each other, rather than do things together. Cheers,Sbalfour (talk) 17:28, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I will add citations to primary and secondary sources to the Colombia#History article as I have time, starting with prehistory section. As I note, there are at least a few problems. It appears, that editors have culled the wording from websites, without consideration of scholarship, and without actually having studied the history. Many websites are now mirrors of the wiki, and filled with our supposed scholarly work. It takes much time to do research, on account of this misleading material.Sbalfour (talk) 22:17, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

March 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Colombia may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • Administrative divisions|language= Spanish}|publisher = dane.gov.co|accessdate = 9 March 2014}}</ref> <ref>{{cite journal|last= Herrera Llanos|first= W |date= 2011|title= Régimen municipal en

"Vandalism" at Agriculture in Colombia edit

Please don't be rude by referring to others' good faith edits as vandalism (see Wikipedia:Vandalism for the definition). I've asked for a third opinion at WP:3O, so hopefully that will help. Calliopejen1 (talk) 21:14, 16 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
