Hello, Thepassedbytrain, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Israeli salad

edit

Hi. I noticed that you had assigned yourself the Israeli salad article to work on. Unfortunately, because of conflicts between editors in the Israeli-Palestine conflict, edits to that page can only be made by people who have made more than 500 edits to Wikipedia and whose accounts are more than 30 days old. I recommend that you pick another article, though of course you can draft additions in your sandbox and propose them on the article's talk page.
