Getting this going

edit

@Bruxton and RoySmith: are you on board with this idea / anything you'd like to clean up beforehand? If not, I suggest we put our signatures on the list and get the RfC started :) if you have any reservations, of course, I'm happy to talk about them – this isn't an imperative by any stretch. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 22:08, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm uncomfortable putting my name on the will have to reassess its level of activity in that area ultimatum. -- RoySmith (talk) 22:14, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@RoySmith: Is there a language or substantive change that would make you more comfortable? Obviously, a strike isn't going to go ahead without unanimity, so if that makes you uncomfortable in and of itself, we can just start the RfC and put the strike in a drawer. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 22:23, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ruminating, I feel the same as Roy ATM. Bruxton (talk) 22:36, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
It looks like we've got several eager new prep-builders who are waiting to do more work. So, I think we should continue to talk about process improvements, but for the moment, my recommendation is to just go to 2-per-day and see how it works out. -- RoySmith (talk) 23:52, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think so. And I cannot begin to imagine what it has been like for SL93 and Leeky filling two a day for a long time. I think we all realize that this new blood will eventually feel the strain and responsibility. But it is a reprieve and I will take it. I felt a responsibility to fill the preps to get us through the holiday season and then some folks stepped up. So with strong sympathy for the position of SL93 and Leeky.
