Conflict of Interest Editing

edit

hi, would you please abstain from editing the sally hogshead article as your first editing experiment? the english wikipedia has 4 million 400 thousand articles, and there is Help:Starting editing to guide you. otherwise volunteer "standard wikipedia editors" can only assume you have a conflict of interest. --ThurnerRupert (talk) 10:28, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is an absolutely ridiculous suggestion. I'm as standard an editor as you are. Perhaps more standard, as I don't go around threatening editors that everyone's going to assume stuff about them if they don't conform. The Man against the Sky (talk) 14:16, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

A barnstar for you!

Congratulation for your astonishing commitment to source additions, which went so far as to trace the exact page of a local newspaper for your first article![1] Nemo 20:45, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, that's kind of you. I'm not a new user, as I noted on the talk page, but am editing as a WP:SOCKLEGIT. I don't know why some of those people are freaking out so badly; they don't even acknowledge how much I cleaned up the material about her career. Anyway, thanks for your support and your assumption of good faith. The Man against the Sky (talk) 19:58, 16 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
