17 October 2010: User:Marknutley was blocked for 1 week for violating the WP:DIGWUREN 1RR restriction on Mass killings under Communist regimes. [2]
21 October 2010: He resumed editing Communist terrorism as User:Tentontunic, evading the block.
23 October 2010: He continued editing various polical articles and talk pages from an IP address [3], again evading blocks.
28 October 2010: He was blocked again after he was being found to be block-evading.
3 November 2010: User:Marknutley was finally given an indefinite block by User:FloNight with the message "Contact ArbCom prior to editing for follow up to SPI". However, he continued to edit his own talk page until 2 February 2011. [4]
13 February 2011: Marknutley posted a message from an IP address acknowledging that he was using dynamic IP addresses to evade blocks. [5]
28 February 2011: Marknutley registered a new sockpuppet, User:WUWT (an apparent reference to the climate denialist blog Watts Up With That?) – later renamed User:Little Big Man (a movie title) – to edit that blog's Wikipedia article, in violation of his WP:ARBCC topic ban.
18-20 April 2011: Checkusers and an SPI found that User:Little Big Man and User:Tentontunic were sockpuppets of Marknutley. Both were blocked.
28 April 2011: Marknutley registered a new sockupppet, User:Veryborednow, which was used to edit Communist terrorism and other articles.
2 May 2011: User:Veryborednow was blocked as another Marknutley sockpuppet.

TLAM's editing career

28 April–15 May 2011: a series of open proxies and UK IP addresses (notably editing from Sky Broadband - 94.8.*.*, 94.12.*.*) made repeated disruptive edits to Communist terrorism, leading to the article being semi-protected on 15 May: [6], [7], [8], [9], [10]
- A lie, first and second IP`s TISCALI UK LIMITED Second Tiscali again Fourth and fifth EasyNet So not really notably editing from sky at all.
17 May 2011: the 94.8.*.* IP editor began participating on Talk:Communist terrorism. Note that the IP editor was clearly familiar with Wikipedia terminology with the summary "i am not a blocked editor do an spi" in this edit.
- Taking a single comment out of context is bad form, [11] Four editors mention SPI 11 times before I do.
17 May 2011: User:The Last Angry Man was created. (Like User:Little Big Man, this is also a movie title [12].)

19 May 2011: User:The Last Angry Man began posting to Talk:Communist terrorism, acknowledging that he was the previously-mentioned IP editor. [13] (TLAM later acknowledged his logged-out IP address here, also see here)
- I registered an account after Paul Siebert (talk) 19:50, 17 May 2011 (UTC) told me I should. But the fact that I said I was the IP editor is somehow proof that I am socking?
17 June 2011: User:The Last Angry Man was blocked as another Marknutley sockpuppet.
8 September 2011: User:The Last Angry Man was unblocked after a successful Arbcom appeal. [14]
- Yes an appeal which the arbitration committee cleared me of being a sock.

Another falsehood. Nutley was blocked from his computer, and his IP and his service provider three days after I created my account.

Wikistalk indicates a high degree of correspondence between the edits of Marknutley, Tentontunic and The Last Angry Man. There is a greater degree of overlap between the edits of Tentontunic and The Last Angry Man, illustrating how The Last Angry Man has picked up where Tentontunic left off. The three accounts have all focused on a narrow range of articles related to "Communist terrorism", specifically:

They have also interacted with the same small core group of editors, notably User:Collect, User:The Four Deuces, User:Igny and User:Paul Siebert.

Disruptive behavour

All three accounts display a similar pattern of disruptive behaviour on the same small range of articles that has led to the imposition of blocks and sanctions. Notably, all three have been sanctioned under WP:DIGWUREN:

Marknutley was blocked around 17 times for edit-warring, personal attacks, violating editing restrictions, violating topic bans, evading blocks and using sockpuppets.[15] He was blocked for 1 week in October 2010 under WP:DIGWUREN for violating 1RR on Mass killings under Communist regimes.[16]
Tentontunic was blocked 3 times for edit-warring on Left-wing terrorism, violating editing restrictions and sockpuppeting. He was blocked for 1 week in March 2011 under WP:DIGWUREN for violating 1RR on Mass killings under Communist regimes.
The Last Angry Man was topic-banned for three months from October 2011 under WP:DIGWUREN for battlefield editing on Holodomor, Communist terrorism and Occupation of the Baltic States.[17]

The person behind these accounts has a persistent history of aggressive, tendentious and disruptive conduct, campaigning to promote a particular point of view and repeatedly causing friction with other editors. His repeated sanctions under the WP:DIGWUREN regime indicate that he has learned nothing and failed to moderate his behaviour on each occasion. After three such sanctions, it is reasonable to doubt whether he is capable of moderation.
