Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Maria Olivia da Silva, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Translation question

edit

{tn|{helpme}} I would ask that the article in English about Silvio Góes was translated. I am here to help with anything that need, but I can not translate because I have only machine translation and know nothing about the rules of copyright. --TheLuckAgain (talk) 15:21, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi there.
I see that the article is already 'tagged' as requesting expansion from the Spanish article - is that the translation you were asking about?
I also note it has been tagged for months; however, a) all Wikipedia editors are volunteers, and b) there is no deadline.
There is little we can do to speed up the process, unless you personally know of anyone who can help with translating it. So, I am sorry, but it is already requested, and I hope it will be looked at as soon as someone can; it is listed in Category:Articles needing translation from Spanish Wikipedia and anyone who can help translate will see it there.  Chzz  ►  15:53, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} Silvio Góes is already known around the world or not? And in the United States, someone already knows Silvio Góes? --TheLuckAgain (talk) 18:15, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I see that you have asked on other wikis [1] [2] [3].
Wikipedia is edited by volunteers. There is no deadline. We have 6,839,760 articles, and they all need improving. Please be patient. Thanks,  Chzz  ►  18:34, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} How do you spell "December 19" and "June 19" in Old Church Slavonic language? --TheLuckAgain (talk) 00:28, 14 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea, but I do not see how this relates to improving English Wikipedia.
You would have to ask elsewhere.  Chzz  ►  00:30, 14 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Edite Soeiro

edit

The article Edite Soeiro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established, unsourced.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eeekster (talk) 00:19, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Carmen Mayrink Veiga

edit

The article Carmen Mayrink Veiga has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Carmen Mayrink Veiga

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Carmen Mayrink Veiga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- Patchy1 REF THIS BLP 08:03, 11 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
