 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hi TheBrutalfanatic! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Ravana several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Ravana, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:03, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

TheBrutalfanatic, if you believe secondary sources are incorrect regarding some details, then you can find other secondary sources. However, replacing secondary sources with primary sources is not a good practice. A primary source should be combined with secondary sources when it comes to interpretations. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:06, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
We prioritize secondary sources on Wikipedia. Ramayana is a primary source. You are excluding a secondary source with Ramayana. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:11, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
What type of policy is this that the primary source is Not the main source? secondary sources are filled with lies and interpolations. Wiki allows lies? TheBrutalfanatic (talk) 15:16, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
WP:OR is the policy. We cannot use primary sources to make interpretations. Secondary sources do that for us. If you think the information is incorrect, you can recommend its removal as well. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:20, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I noticed that you are repeatedly undoing my edits of the Ravana page saying Valmiki Ramayana is NOT a primary source. Who gave you the authority to call Valmiki Ramayana as a secondary source? Don't you know that the character of Ravana comes from Valmiki Ramayana? Most of the sources mentioned are NOT from the Valmiki Ramayana, I DON'T need to find secondary sources cos I am citing from Valmiki Ramayana. TheBrutalfanatic (talk) 15:12, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I did not claim that Ramayana is not a primary source. You are misunderstanding my edit summaries and explanations here. You do need to find secondary sources for interpretations. Please see WP:PSTS and WP:PRIMARY. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:15, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well, I don't have entire time in the world to keep reverting your undoing of my edits. You want Ravana's page to be filled with wrong info so be it. TheBrutalfanatic (talk) 15:17, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Like I've said, you can find other secondary sources if you believe the secondary source, which you are excluding, is incorrect. In the meantime, please self-revert because you just violated WP:3RR. StephenMacky1 (talk) 15:19, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
ok, so be it.. But the page is filled with wrong infos, especially under the subheading other conflicts. TheBrutalfanatic (talk) 15:26, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  PhilKnight (talk) 15:48, 26 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Haku

edit

Please stop with the disruptive and poorly sourced misinformation on the Haku (wrestler) article. You keep making this false claim that he says stories about him are untrue in that video you referenced. Watch the video again and pay attention and you'll see he in fact says the stories are true. You've already been reported again for edit warring, breaking 3RR, and your persistent disruptive editing. Continue with this behavior and another block with longer duration is likely. Hunterb212 (talk) 18:32, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Everything written on Haku's page is not less than false claims. The page of the fakest tough guy ever, the video link I provided is genuine and If Haku says that all the stories are true, he is a bigger liar than his delusional and drunk colleagues. Pages dedicated to fake tough guys like Tonga should NOT be there in the first place. I don't care If I am blocked a hundred times.. TheBrutalfanatic (talk) 04:18, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well you just showed why you're blocked with that reply. No logical reason for the edit, you just don't like Haku for whatever reason and want to discredit his reputation. That's being disruptive, Wikipedia isn't based on opinions it's based on fact. And the fact is dozens of wrestlers who know Haku personally have stated he is legitimately tough. Just because you discount what they say and don't believe it doesn't mean it isn't true. Hunterb212 (talk) 18:50, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I don't care If am blocked, I don't believe everything in Wikipedia is legitimate. That being said no, it's not that I don't like Haku, it's that I don't like people claiming all the exaggerated stories of him to be true. This is not the first Wikipedia page where my edits are being reverted, yes, you are right that wikipedia isn't based on personal opinions but facts. But when It comes to Haku, nothing about this guy is a fact..all are stories narrated by him or his peers with absolutely zero evidence. Whatever, in millions of wiki pages, there are wrong information but in case of Haku or Tonga, it's only stories and nothing more. Nothing personal tho, it's just that I don't like ppl being overrated. TheBrutalfanatic (talk) 20:44, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
