Hi, just wanted to let you know your article NGC 3031 (band) may be deleted. I don't beileve this (your?) band is notable, but you show a good knowledge of formating so you want to contribute to some other articles, like noise rock or Sonic Youth. If you have any questions send them to my talk page (click "Jelly Baby?" in my signature) Cheers, --Sean Jelly Baby? 01:26, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the message (You'll learn to enjoy seeing that orange bar!). Read those links in the message above, and then try editing someting you're interested in, say, noise rock. Again, if you need anything, go to my talk page. Cheers and Happy Editing, --Sean Jelly Baby? 01:37, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Userfying

edit

Ahh, should have explained. It's quite simple really, just save the article as a text file (copy and paste, that sort of thing) and drop it into a subpage and you'll be all set. See Wikipedia:Subpages for more. Cheers,--Sean Jelly Baby? 21:46, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Subpage

edit

Remember to put User:The0208 in front of any subpage links. I fixed yours, but remember next time. Oh, and do you mind if I remove the AFD template from the subpage? Thanks,--Sean Jelly Baby? 22:05, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Vs. (Pearl Jam album)

edit

Fantastic! Really quite good stub, and you did the infobox template better than I can! I'm not sure how to fix up the chronology stuff, unfortunately, but that's minor. Just great. You might want to join the album Wikiproject. Oh- I like the list of bands on your userpage. You've got good taste in music :) Cheers and happy editing, Sean Jelly Baby? 04:30, 12 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Classic Rock

edit

Hello. I was wondering if you would like to participate in my classic rock survey. I'm trying to find the most liked classic rock song. There is more information on my user page. Hope you participate! RENTASTRAWBERRY FOR LET? röck 02:59, 30 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I know.

When do you want to collaborate on the Old Time Relijun and Jim Sagray articles? I also think Division Day has gained enough prestige and that it is about time that they have an article as well. Jurjen 00:12, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Finally we can edit from school! I have already begun an old time relijun article, but its very minimal at the moment. I think the Sagray article would have to be at the top of my list. I believ the world has the right to know about the brave teacher who dared to take on NASA. If you search google for Jim Sagray you can find newspaper quotes of him about technology.Jurjen 00:46, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Old Time Relijun

I propose that the image be changed to / photo 1 or / photo 2 in order to better represent the band. The current image is, in my opinion, far to normal. Jurjen 21:34, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey Justin, it is Jacob. I'm back online. I am not allowed to use IM so I can't really think of a way to communicate efficiently right now.

WP:CVU status

edit

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Replaceable fair use Image:OldTimeRelijun.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:OldTimeRelijun.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 08:44, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:OldTimeRelijun.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:OldTimeRelijun.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 00:56, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
