Speedy deletion of "Sara Griffin"

edit

A page you created, Sara Griffin, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

This article needs some serious help. It will not really do the job in its present form, even with the edits I've had a go at, and it is in danger of deletion. I'm hoping very much you will work in the article to make it notable and verifiable. My instinct says that this can and should be done, but I lack the subject knowledge to do it myself.
I'm guessing that this is a topic that is important to you and that you probably do have the knowledge to do it.
The article also needs you to comment in the deletion debate. In general rhetoric does not work. What works is facts in the article which may be referred to in the debate. Facts, citable and verifiable facts, tend to make sure an article stays. Rhetoric, especially emotional rhetoric has the reverse effect. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 16:49, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
