Tautimai ki tā tātou Wikipedia, Teruakohatu! Thank you for editing Pounamu; it's great to have someone with knowledge of te reo editing it. The information on fossikking is a fairly critical addition to the article! When I added some images a while back, tried to ask advice off-wiki, but never heard back. I've fixed that space photo caption; it did seem rather unlikely... The Wikipedia Māori is also glad to see new editors with an interest in the language. If you choose to add {{User mi-3}} to your user page, with the appropriate skill number, you will show up on the automated lists of editors by language skills. I'm impressed by your edits so far; they could be those of a much more experienced editor. If I can ever help with anything you want to do on-wiki, just ask on my talk page; a human memory has advantages as an indexing system, and I'd be glad to smooth your path. Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay edit
Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.
Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.
