10:10 edit

Thank you so much for your help on 10:10! I'm so sorry I didn't find your article before beginning one myself - I tried to search but obviously didn't search very hard. It's fantastic to have your input correcting and adding, and your pictures are really key in making the article enjoyable and engaging.

Thanks a lot, Fifth Fish Finger (talk) 22:57, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am, very keenly. I wish there was a Facebook page for the project, that I could "become a fan" of - now the (superb, according to the Independent) launch party is over. On that note, I believe that once a Page gets 100 fans, you can choose a custom url (facebook.com/1010uk or /tentenuk for example) for it. (You can also sync your twitter updates to it.) Congratulations on the soon-to-be 13,000 people who are supporting 10:10 on your website!
Best wishes, Fifth Fish Finger (talk) 20:16, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Mark Pritchard (music producer) edit

The article Mark Pritchard (music producer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnotable musician

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Herostratus (talk) 03:14, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Radio Free Brighton edit

A tag has been placed on Radio Free Brighton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A little bit too speedy... edit

Hi! I was just reviewing your article when someone else deleted the article about Radio Free Brighton. Given that you had less than half an hour, I think it was a little bit premature to delete it, especially as you had indicated that you would be back. If you wish, I can restore the page and put it in a userfied area for you to work on (although as my lunch break will finish in a few minutes, you may have to wait a few hours for me to do it).

Tip for you: You may wish to use template:newpage at the top of a new article; this should give you a bit more time to work on it. Stephen! Coming... 11:57, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have had a quick read through, and listed the areas that will need addressing before the article can be moved to mainspace. SeeUser talk:Tdwright/Radio Free Brighton. Thanks, Stephen! Coming... 16:18, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
