Hello, Taylo184, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Sourcing

edit

Hi Taylo184! I know that the Wikipedia portion of the class will be over tomorrow, but I wanted to drop a quick note about sourcing. When possible, try to avoid linking to sourcing on your school's Blackboard site, as that can only be viewed by students in your particular course. I've replaced the Blackboard link on the Shtiebel article with one to the Springer site so no worries, I just wanted to let you know about this. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 04:26, 11 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Shalor! Thank you very much, I didn't realize the link wouldn't be accessible by all but thanks for catching that! It's nice to know there's someone out there assisting and regulating edits, it gives me more trust in the information that myself and others add. Taylo184 (talk) 15:16, 11 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
