Username concerns

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Holly Springs, North Carolina, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Holly Springs - Government", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 15:22, 11 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Flag of Holly Springs.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Flag of Holly Springs.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. At File talk:Flag of Holly Springs.jpg you said: "This file should not be speedy deleted as redundant, because... it is now being used on the Holly Springs, North Carolina article. I just now placed it there. Sorry for the delay, and thank you for keeping Wikipedia a great place to be. --Tamara Ward (talk) 15:11, 25 February 2014 (UTC)" To explain: this file has been deleted as you uploaded it twice, so the deletion of the second copy is just housekeeping. The other version, at File:Official Flag of Holly Springs North Carolina.jpg, is fine. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia, and happy editing. :-) Thanks.
