License tagging for Image:Snp-logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Snp-logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:08, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Syrian national party snp, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Probable Hoax. The Syrian Social Nationalist Party appears to be a completely different organisation. Speedy delete and redirect

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Exxolon 21:47, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to WP:SY edit

Welcome, تحسين, to our small WikiProject. As you can see, activity in the project is currently minimal. Actually all our members are doing nothing for the Project. Hell, even I am not doing much lately... maybe there is no incentive. My suggestion for you is to read the policy pages I have provided you in the welcome message above, take it easy a little bit, work on a more acceptable tenor, and help make Syria's coverage in the 'pedia a little more decent than what it is. Happy editing, Tahseen! —Anas talk? 22:56, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

help! edit

Hello, I don't know who I should speak to about this important matter. The Golan article has been taking over by Israelis and they have removed everything mentioning an occupation and changed it to "disputed" They have also removed the "the neutrality of this article is disputed" that was on top of the article while it is written in a completely pro-Israeli way. Please do something about this! —Preceding unsigned comment added by SwedishArab (talkcontribs) 19:57, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
