Hello, I'm TimothyBlue. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of wars involving Poland, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Do not reinsert unsourced content into articles. See article talk page for information on inclusion criteria.  // Timothy :: talk  21:11, 19 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

List criteria and adding sources that do not support content

edit

Questions:

  1. Which of the sources you have added here [1] claim this entry was a war?
  2. Can you confirm you have read WP:LISTCRITERIA and WP:V? If not please read and then confirm.

Adding references that do not support the entry is a significant problem.  // Timothy :: talk  16:20, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

You need to reply here - where the discussion is - not in a new discussion on my talk page.
Your replies do not answer the questions asked above and this needs a reply.  // Timothy :: talk  16:48, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Your non-answers on my talk page [2] still do not answer the questions - and the discussion is here. As for your comment about being used to Polish Wikipedia, this is English Wikipedia and the standards of Polish Wikipedia (if they exist, haven't checked as it doesn't matter) do not apply here.
You need to answer the questions above - which sources you have provided support the article list criteria? or are you simply adding references to try and make it seem like the entry is supported? This is a problem and you need to address it.  // Timothy :: talk  17:22, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • I started this discussion here. You need to reply here, not on other pages. The issue you are avoiding with your non-answers is does the entry meet WP:LISTCRITERIA The references you have provided do not support the entry meeting WP:LISTCRITERIA and therefore fails WP:V.
None of the references you provided show the entry meets the article WP:LISTCRITERIA. Your non-answers indicate to me that you are just spamming references that do not support the entry. Deciding to be disruptive by answering on other pages is not the way to conduct discussions on English Wikipedia. Future replies on other pages will be ignored.  // Timothy :: talk  18:07, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@TimothyBlue: If you provide a link that this rule is true, it will adapt. Szturnek¿? 18:15, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Szturnek, editors here have the right to remove comments from their own user talk pages. See WP:BLANKING. You should not edit war with TB on their own user talk page. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:21, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Firefangledfeathers: Ok, this is stupid rule, but I accept - although from what I see, there is no rule that forces you to reply to someone else's answers on your own discussion page, so his deletion of my comments leads to the loss of the original point of the discussion. So if he doesn't want to sensible discuss it, let it be his will. Szturnek¿? 18:31, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are correct that you're not forced to reply in any particular place. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:34, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
