{{adminhelp}} For whatever reason, I was unable to save the page because I used div overflow brackets. The page in its current state has non breaking spaces, which make the page look strange, so I thought the brackets would be appropriate. I regret that I am ignorant when it comes to how Wikipedia functions, though I am experienced working with Mediawiki in general.

I tried to paste my revision of the page here within preview brackets, but the filter preventing me from saving the page in the mainspace is here as well.

We don't use much HTML stuff. Can you just remove the brackets (search/replace), save it to wiki, and then ask us what you want to do? That way, we can see what you mean.  Chzz  ►  01:59, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
If/when you do that, please put {{helpme}} here, and ask your question.
You could save it in User:Swfarnsworth/test or whatever. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  03:24, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Custom Themes

edit

I'm trying to change the theme of the Vector skin (I put emphasis on the two because every page I've looked at will only tell me how to change the skin), though there does not appear to be any catalog of user created themes, only user created skins. If anyone knows of such a catalog or the names of the CSS elements needed to change the entire website grey (instead of bright white) and all the use of light blue (like on the sides of the pages) to light green, please answer.

Regards, Steele W. FarnsworthTalk 23:30, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The best I could create was the following:
/* Replace "cyan" with the color you want. */
#p-cactions ul
{
overflow:visible;
}

#p-cactions li
{
border: 2px solid cyan !important;
position: relative;
float: left;
}

body {
background:cyan !important;
}

#content {
border:1px solid #AAAAAA;
background:cyan !important;
}

#page-base {
background:cyan !important;
}
Hope this helps, →Στc. 04:54, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
